i used to be really into rc planes. Then i bought a low end plane and lost in the trees. Actually i found it but i was too lazy to risk losing it again

start the cult

Dude serisly. whats your problem? why cant you just let people enjoy whatever they enjoy. Just becuase you dont like RC plains doesnt mean you should shit on any one that does. Chill out, spred the love not the hate

when i was a little guy i was hitchiking and an rc plane picked me up it was nasty those things can book

well i went flying today and crashed my 70 inch wingsapn plane, i took the airbrakes off and right after i took off the wind got it, it went str8 into the ground, full throttle, the whole fornt end of the planeis gone, thier is some good though because my parents HOPEFULLY will by me a more advanced one. i am looking at a p-51 trainer, a su-31 or an extra 300

my dad had a plane and it sat in the basement for over 4 years so i decided to fly it. it turns out that was a bad idea. i took off adn did some barrel rolls on accident and then it started going really fast and far away so i tried to turn aroudn adn it was fine at first until it went straightinto the ground and it snapped in half. definitely worth it though it was hilarious

I have a RC Helicpter, it rips. You think that there are a ton of manuevers for planes, try flying the helicopter. Also i have an electric foam airplane. I also just got a minituare electric fixed pitch heli for flying inside. And the coolest thing is that i get to fly The real airplanes every tuesday and thurseday, i am working on getting my private pilot cert. through UVSC. I love flying whether it is RC or the real deal. These are the planes, and helis that i have so far.

Yeah i wish i could afford one too. Actually the two helis were given to me by my Uncle who works at Heliproz, and the plane was my "senior project" so my parents paid for it. This is definatley not a cheap hobby, even thought the price tag on the foam plane is only like $50, you still need a remote, electric engine, battery, servos, reciever, charger. It would probably cost around $500 to $700 depending on the quality that you get. Just an estimate though.

"you can do so many different manuevers."

I need to shed some light on what REAL manuevers from a Remote Ccontrolled aircraft could be. Go to this link and check out any of Alan Szabo's movies. This kid is friken insane, i really don't know how he does it. I read an interview in an RC mag. and he claims that he has only crashed around 5 times because of wrong stick inputs. Or in otherwords things he did wrong.
