RC Heli built for aerial shooting

So, are you gonna spy on people besides getting awesome skiing shots. Get a telephoto lens on there and balance the heli out, then fly high up. I'd just follow people until they notice then fly away, or just fly up to people and see their reaction.

How high does it go anyway?

its allready been done by 2 brothers in the NW-- RCAERIALCAM.COM
they make snowboard/ski vids with it

Holy pisss that WAS FUCKING ILLL

i was thinking today well shooting dirt jumps here in whistler that you were going to make some sick video

that was dope

damn, i really hope you get some awesome snow-footage this winter, that thing looks awesome !!
keep us posted !

so you have a wireless life feed monitor, and your focus puller is in charge of the camera and the system that's positioning it, while you fly the heli? thats an incredible set up. props.

You are a fucking beast. I fully expect the most epic footage of A-Line ever. That'd be tough... I can't wait to see what else gets filmed with your setup. Maybe get things a little FHUPP'd!

I cannot believe how incredibly sick this is... Were you doing stabilization to the shots on the heli? Looked like some of them had that stabilizing warping going on, but in the 2nd video every shot looked perfect, is that just how smooth the heli is? Either way, congrats, you could make some good money off of this. Also, been wanting a dslr all year, gonna get the 7d very soon! so epic.

That thing is EPIC! Cannot wait to see some more shots from it, props for the balls to fly that thing around.

So much props to Trent. Have no idea how he was able to master such a complex way of shooting in very little time.

That was so cool.

How much did that all cost with the mount and the heli?

Oh and maybe you can extend the rails at the bottom of the heli and kinda loop them around to the top so that if it crashes your camera is still intact. If you get it close enough to the lens it shouldnt be visable.
