The griffons are a big turn off for many people due to their experiences with them exploding and prereleasing. Probably has a bit to do with all the thumbs down.

In my opinion Line skis are not an amazing quality build. I have had quite a few pairs ranging from Chronics to Supernaturals to Bacons and had problems with every pair in one way or another within a short time of using them. Griffons are an OK binding to be fair, not amazing but pretty good, hence 4/10.
