i got a go pro last year and kinda messed around with it but not really. i have plans on utilizing it this winter so i thought i would give it a shot and make my first edit. me and my boyfriend took the boat out on Tombeau Lake (Wisconsin), went fishing and had ourselves a good ol time. its a bunch on random unplanned footage i took so the edit isnt fantastic or anything. i did editing with iMovie and took the footage with a go pro.

i really want to make some edits this winter so any kind of feedback would be awesome. i want to get better so please help me.

anyway here it is...

Alright lets start off with the good.

-Song was awesome

-The ending was somewhat funny, maybe if you shortened it up a bit it would've been better

-Some of the audio ex. when he throws the fish into the lake

The bad

- I cannot stand the gopro audio, take it out

- Trim the clips by snapping them together with the beat of the song, try and stay clear of those transitions

- Color correcting would make it 10x better

- Shorten it a lot, I lost interest about 30-45 seconds in

Thats about what i have, hope this helped!

Pretty decent along with stuff already mentioned i would say to stay away from the cheezy transitions and titles (lens flare, open doors, etc.)

I would stay clear from the standard title transitions. Your footage would also look much better if you shot from an angle where the sun is shining on what your filming that way you don't get everything in shadows.
