Well another forum i was on did this ( lacrosse ) except for set ups, you would simply post a picture of your stuff, or list it. Then the person who posts after you would give it a rating out of 10 then post their set up.

I think we should do the same as that other website except for steeze, i guess this may be kind of the same idea as "post your outerwear", except with ratings. So if people think this is a dumb idea (potential fail) i can always get a MOD to delete it, if not i think it would be good.

Afterall, if theres one thing we love ( next to stomping a trick or afterbanging, aha) its looking fresh to death. Whats better than looking fresh to death? well being told you look fresh to death.

Someone start us off ;)

field is the best. i love the space and the speed and the challenge, its not so much of running back and forth, scoring back and forth like box. i just find it more legit, just think of the final four tourny and how much fun that is. ikts never like that in box

and those helmets are GHEY. who uses brine helmets?

we're getting new Pro 7's for school this year.
http://cascadelacrosse.com/pro7/pro7swap.php

just play around with the colors, we don't know how its going to look yet, buts its going to have navy blue, orange, and possibly white. its going to look so money

agreed. plus goalie for box sucks.Thats sick about the pro 7s, ive always found they look alittle funny on high school teams, especially if your not on the big side. it just looks like a bunch of bobbleheads.I think my school is also trying to get murdered out CPX's. Now that would be sick

pro 7's look awesome, especially if the whole team has it and has nice gear.

but they are on the heavier side, so i hear. i like the CPX but i think they pro 7 looks cooler

murdered out CPX's would be baller, but only if they are like matte black, i think all black shiney CPX's look terrible. like the new oregon gear, its baller, with the matte helmets

Field is more legit than box? try playing 5 on 5 in a tiny arena in the middle of the summer, its much hotter than outside, its like an oven in there. In box you need to think way quicker, you need to know where your passing the ball before its in your stick. Not to mention the contact, unlike field, if im on defense and the player im covering doesnt have the ball ( providing there past the blue line) i can still pound on them, try standing there waiting for a ball, watching the play while your arm is getting beat on. Your only suposed to push the person your defending put refs never call it. Box lacrose is also quicker paced, its back and forth back and forth, the only ones who experience this in field are the middis( what i play )Also once you have the ball you have 30 seconds to get shoot on net or theres a change in possesion, and you obviously have to hit the net which brings me to me next point, the nets are 4x4 and we have massive goalies, im not talking NLL there nets were widened to appeal to you americans so the league would grow because many found it too hard to score. You have to have snipess to score, that or quick passing to moove the goalie out of position or you have to be bale to throw dirty fakes. Lastly we have fights, unlike field where if you swear you get an un-sportsman like conduct, in box more often or not ( depending on age group ) if your chirping someone you better be ready to drop the gloves, last time i saw a field fight it was just two guys with there helmets and gloves still on just swinign like idiots, thats not how you fight at all.

THIS BEING SAID I still really like field, its just a different game. Canadian box players can shoot the lights and im not saying field players have harder shots ( its debatable because in box its more where you put the ball than shot speed ) but you guys can shoot from further out, which is a given because it isnt necessary in box.

thats my rant, im not trying to start a hate war, im just having an argument :) i respect field players alot to, i am one after all. you guys are also way more skilled with your off hand.

BY THE WAY IM TALKING CANADIAN BOX, not the "box" or "indoor" you have in the US im talking real box. Not even the NLL which is, again, modified so its less of a change for field players. Real box is way more rutheless.

i play indoor in the winter, its all beating the shit out of each other (although you get called for it, but we just end up getting kicked out of the game before we stop).

i also play defense in field, and i wreck shit, i've come home with blood on my stick.

trust me, the goals we use are just taller, and our goalies arent padded head to toe with pussy pads.

its not easy to score either, reactions gotta be fast as fuck and accuracy has to be perfect. they didnt make goals bigger to appeal to the US, it makes the game much more interesting. rather than winning by a goal, you have to score multiple goals to win, and it keeps it faster paced. i knows lots of snipers, you have to hit the corners to score.

and there are shit tons of fakes, i know kids that absolutely blow my mind, i've spun in circles looking for the ball from fakes (im not afraid to admit that either).

and i've punched kids, gotten kicked out of games. my friend punched someone in the face when we were shaking hands.

maybe in canada field isnt as competative as it is here, because here, field lacrosse is whats going down.

i live in one of the best lacrosse areas in the country. look up john jay, yorktown, rye, somers, and other schools around them. they are in my section, i play them in regular games. they are better then private schools

Coming from someone who plays both field and box i can, without a doubt, say that scoring is easier in field. You may think just our goalies are shit, well no we go down to ithica for a tournaent every year and still rape show. im not saying its easy to score but its sure as hell way way way fuckign easier, half the time we go down to thses tournament and win and were canadian kids who play once a week field lacrosse ( aside from those who have school teams like me ). But yes i know alot of sley ld players who can rip corners like its no ones buisness. And yes thats why they modified the rules for NLL is to appeal more to american players and have the legue grow in size. Watch a JR A box game in canada, theres just as much scoring but the nets are smaller than the nll.

And i wasnt arguing that field wasnt physicall, i know its physical, if you dont think its competitive up here think again, in the highschol teams alot of kids just join so they can play pole and beat the shit out of kids. But again, having played both, box hurts a ton of alot more than field, especially sicne you can knock someone around when they dont have the ball and they cant push back.

also im sure anyone who has played both can vouche for my points.

Lastly trust me your indoor lacrosse is nothing like box.

canadian box lacrosse gets pretty intense...dont you americans think its weak. i'd like to see alot of field players come play box...
