Does anyone know what company makes the rasta jacket in the fashion show trailer. The one that is white and has a big rasta colored rainbow thing on the back, and i think there i a lion and sun on the back too. It's a sick jacket so if anyone knows what kind it is let me know.

This is my major pet peev. I saw this girl wearing a rasta colored hoodie the other day at a party and asked her if she knew what the colors stood for. Her reply "reggae". Then I asked her who Haile Selassie was and she gave one of the most dumbfounded look I have ever seen.
Kids just because you listen to Bob Marley and smoke weed occasionally doesn't mean you should throw on the rasta scheme. 95% of you are suburban white kids who couldn't name over 3 reggae artists without the last name Marley, let alone tell me what the movement is actually about. I've smoked with rastas before and even I don't wear the colors besides on the Grenade Bob Gnarley gloves, just because they are the sickest gloves ever.

I also agree with this, listening to the music and having the life stlye before i even thought of skiing.... i now see but dont understand how it has become so popular. THALL is and has been a rasta... so to speak... I think all should take the time to learn something before even wearing the colors... I mean i had dreads.... certainly all would appreciate it if they take the time to learn anything about the religion... thats an LRG sweater im sure

you all are hella dumb. just because I like that jacket doesn't mean i'm tring to be rasta. i don't even care it has those colors i just thought it was a sick design. i mean even if it were a completely different color i'd probably like it. i don't even own anything with the rasta colors. and anyways that hoodie doesn't even have that much of those colors, its not like that one speical blend one.

i wasnt saying the kid was in the wrong at all (if anyones talking about what i posted) I just dont even see why its becoming popular... and already played out... you can be white and Rastafarian... theres way more too it than wearing colors and smoking... i just think anyone who claims anything with the religion should take some time to learn about it..... it really wouldnt make sense to be white and a rasta. I have a couple rastafarian cousins, my uncle married an african lady and so on, and lived in the Caribbean for half of my life and i know what rastafari is and about it. Marcus Garvey preached to and for the poor blacks of the caribbean, rastafari is all about the empowerment and betterment of the african race and if you are not african being a rasta doesnt really make sense, youd really just be a weed smoking christian.

I have smoked with rastas before since I spend a good deal of time in Costa Rica with my friends down there and know how to speak Spanish. Its not something I brag about as if it has anything to do with cred.

you know that they dont believe in -ism and ending things with -ian. so you calling them rastafarian and rastafarianism is like a slap in he face the them. The people are called rastafari and the religion is rasta. They dont use -isms or -ians... and saying white people cant be rasta... ever heard of SOJA(solidiers of jah army).
