Rasta color order

How about you guys stop being so damn rediculous.

I don't care why she believes or how much she believes what she believes.

She believes.

That is all.

That is all that matters. And all you should care about. If she says she believes something, you are in no place to judge her. So what if she doesn't follow her beliefs all the time, that can be a hard thing to do.

I believe we should all be compassionate 100% of the time, that doesn't mean that I am, because it is hard. Stop judging.

Stop judging right now. How can you judge her based on the fact that she has clothing and lives comfortably. She can still believe whatever she wants.

Stop it.

It's quite rediculous and you are all looking very prejudice to me.

these were the questiona that plagued me when i was...4th form. wait till you get older, youll lose the plot.completely.

white people converting to a religion about black empowerment... ummmm? I have a hard enough time believing that God even exists, let alone that jesus was god, LET ALONE that Haile Selassie is the living incarnate of God.. in conclusion, if you think you are a rastafarian, you are not.

who knows what the colors stand for?

Black is for the color of blank

Green is for the blank

Yellow is for the blank

and red is for the blank we shed?

Fill in the blank white kids

thank you for attempting to set some people straight. Hell, I don't even know what the colors mean, they are visually appealing to me so I don't really care about the right order, as long as they are together

listen to rally round by steel pulse

black for the people

green for the land africa

YELLOW for the gold that they stole

red for the blood that flows like a river

so check your facts before you make statements. and im guessing they are more rasta than you or i or all NS put together so ill stick with their word

idk if a song has the greates credibilty out there man. bad argument. yellow and gold rhyme differently so who knows, it could just be to fit the song

well the band members of steel pluse are rastafarian so they know their religion and what the colors reppresent

and word to what MadAir915* just said

wrong its actually the flag of ghana or some western african country. since the rastafarians beleive in Africa as the home land they rep ghana and ethiopia, and king selassille (prob not spelled right) the once ruler of ethiopia

no ur wrong it is a religion and the flags do have the same colors because rastararians believe in repatriation to zion...ethiopia

wow this thread got out of hand really quickly. funny how religion (all religions) which are essentially there to preach peace and humanity can cause arguments; and wars. Its situations like this that make me dislike religion. But when push comes to shove if someone believes in something strongly enough, and don't force their beliefs on other people, why not let them go ahead and worship who they want.

if someone wants to follow rastafari let them its not hurting us in any way. Personally i have no problems with it; until someone thats not jamaican starts speaking with a jamiacan accent, thats wrong.

ya i know what you mean i have a little stripe in the back of my binding and then i know kids how have a rasta goggles and helmets and shit and they have no clue clue who Sellasie is

color red symbolizes the blood that martyrs have shed in the history of the Rastas.

The yellow in the gold represents the wealth of the homeland.

Green represents the beauty and vegetation of Ethiopia, the promised land.
