where I live some pedophiles can have their criminal record cleared. I hate the Canadian justice system.
 
Almost no women become pregnant from rape even if they were ejaculated inside of. The body is in such a state of shock that it makes it highly unlikely to become pregnant. But the possibility still exists, even though it is minimal.

i wasn't saying that if you talk about it your lieing. i said if you throw it around there, your lieing. like girls who said they got raped, but continue to joke around about rape. or tell EVERYONE they got raped right off the bat. i find it very very hard to beleive that these girls are rape victims when they talk about it like that.
 
she probably meant the girls who just throw it around casually, to get attention or something... I'm sure there are rape victims who can discuss it... but I doubt there would be any who would throw it around like that.

you do not understand the issues that come along with being raped. these poor girls have serious emotional/physical scars after something like this happens to them. you have no fuckin idea. and yes, generally after a girl is raped she will take a shower. all you want to do is cleanse yourself of that filthiness that encompassed your body. its absolutely disgusting that some of you even have the balls to joke about a situation so serious and disturbing.

how would you feel if it happened to someone close to you? like maybe your gf, sister or even your mom? not so funny then huh

i posted enough in the ladies men version of this, but i have to say that i may have more experience, although indirectly, then most of you and i can say that different people react in different ways. Some girls may never reveal what happened, while others may try to make a joke of it as a way of dealing with the situation, doesnt mean it didnt happen.

No. Hell even 100 years ago. Just think about some indian tribe back in the day who captured a different tribes women, do you think they asked if they could have sex first? no.

I dont think you understand about the animal instincts that all beings of life have on earth. Yes, it is part of life. Im not saying that I condone it whatsoever, but its not something that is just going to stop oneday. As long as their is life, their will be rape, no matter what organism is doing it.
 
uhhh....10,000 years ago is completely different from 2007. did they even have any sort of a justice system back then? no. did they have police? no. completely different. i understand where you're coming from but you cant compare apples to oranges on something like this. animal instincts..ok. last time i checked we weren't animals...but the fuckhats that are running around raping women, yes they are animals. and no i dont think its going to just stop but there needs to be a better system. i hate reading that some guy only gets 3 years for raping someone. its just not right. i'm not hear to argue with anyone..its just a really fucked up thing-thats my .02

3 years in jail is a long fucking time actually in the scheme of things, our lives are short.

Is that really fucking necessiary? I hate people like you. Clearly you do not know anyone who has been raped. Rape changes someone's life for ever regardless of how hard they try to overcome it. Maybe someone you know or love will be raped and then you can look back and see what you are making fun of. People like you are just ignorant jackass'.
 
now, say a girl was raped, and then is pregnant with the offspring of the sexaul offender. would you still condone abortions? that was off topic, but i agree rape is a terrible thing, but i mean, is murder any worse? all these crimes are sick and horrific, but we live in a twisted society. thats not directed at you, though. just the abortion part
 
Here's the thing.. rape is without question one of the most horrible things you can do to someone. I don't deny that. But three years in jail is a long fucking time. People get slapped with twenty-five year sentences, life sentences, that's all you hear about on the news, so anything less begins to seem like "no big deal".

It is a big deal. It's a huge fucking deal. Prison is hell. And three years is a lot longer than the vast majority of prison sentences. For rape, I'm going to say that maybe three years is a bit light. But... step back and realize that just because you've been desensitized to think anything under fifteen years is "easy time", realize that three years of these peoples' lives are not only destroyed, and after they get out of prison, it's not any easier.

They have to tell the people whose neighborhoods they move to they're sex offenders, they're scorned by their family, friends, the public at large. It's hell for them to get a job. As sick and twisted as it is, they pay dearly, and only the sickest of fucks is going to go out and do it again after three to five years of hard time.

 
The thing about rape that gets sticky is that a girl can just claim it, far too easily. Its really lame, its like society is inclined to take every fucking whore seriously just because she needs to get herself out of a bind. On the other hand, that mentality makes it harder for a girl who did get raped to get the guy nailed. As for penalty, well, its hard to say for the first offense, because prison can fuck a guy up and change him real fast (I dont know first hand or anything...), so something a little more tolerable, and then if you do it again, it should be something like death by inaccurate firing squad with archery equipment.
 
The one person, in this entire thread, that I would ever think could be a rapist is the person that created this thread. Its the people that never admit to have EVER thought about doing something to a girl that has had way too much to drink or passes out. Of course it crosses our minds, its only millions of years of nature whispering us.

The difference between a rapist and a normal person is based on action and not thought.

What makes matters worse, is that there is a power angle to it as well (however people who say that there is no sexual component in rape is completely full of shit). But there are definately different kinds of rape.

I remember in PDR one day, grade 9, we watched a video on sexual assault from oprah. A guy that admitted to using date rape drugs was on the show, and some guy in the audience gave him a rough time about it (moreso than most people), he said a lot of the things the maker of this thread said.

Later on in the show, he said out loud "what do you expect" when they were talking about guys buying girls roofie drinks, and girls accepting them.

See what i mean?
 
oh yeah you're right, i'm a rapist, or i had a girlfriend who used to cry about it every night from her previous bf. Shes long gone now but that kid still gets me angry along with every other guy who uses power to get a girl, fucking people.
 
I had a lot of trouble following your response, but I think you're trying to accuse me of having sympathy for rapists... that is FAR from the truth, as I made clear, it is by far among the sickest and most fucked up things you can do. That being said, people underestimate just how brutal a three to five year sentence is... it ruins your life long after you get out of jail. Besides, a lot of the people who get these rape charges are young... 18-22. Best years of your life fucking shot.

Of course they deserve it, but I don't think there are too many crimes besides murder that deserve these 25-life sentences.

and you think 3 years is light. please. someone does their time, say 3 years, gets out and does it again. it happens all of the time. thats why DA's want to put them behind bars longer, because they do not belong in the public.

theres this thing called logic...we all know what is right and what is wrong (with the exception of the people that are actually mentally sick and they should not be locked up in jail, but a hospital would do it just fine). when someone does something that is wrong theres this other thing call consequences. you fuck up and you pay the consequences. not too hard to understand
 
You fuck up and pay twenty-five years worth of consequences? A lot of these people are stupid, young kids. I'm not talking about the people who go to parties and put roofies in peoples' drinks, or violently force sex..

I'm talking about people who were drunk at a party and they were doing well with a chick and didn't really check to see if it was OK because she was pretty drunk, as well. Or guys who push a few extra drinks. Or guys who guilt-trip. Is it fucked up? Absolutely. Should they be punished? Definitely. But these people don't deserve to spend half their lives in prison. It's not right. They fucked up, they spend three years in prison, they sure as hell have learned their lesson.
 
I think abortion after rape is justifiable. I am pro-choice, but I think that people should use birth control instead of abortion. Anyhow, in the instance of rape it's justifiable because no one would want to raise a child who was a product of rape, and I'm sure no one would want to be that child. Also, whether or not a fetus is a person is a matter up for debate.
