Rape and Murder

it was global because it wasn't a simple murder involving a few citizens of one town.

It involved an American and an Italian murdering a British girl....in Italy.

So naturally the media from Great Britain (which is an absolute circus in itself) the US, and Italy will all be interested. Then other european countries will want in, and it snowballs from there.
 
a murder investigation/trial takes quite a while to complete...and the appeals processes are even worse. 4 years isn't as bad as it could have been.
 
putting a potentially innocent person in prison for 4 years in a foreign murder case is big news.

The real question is why michael jackson's death is still on the news.

well when i was in france my family got confused with being american and given crappy service at restaurants until we informed the staff that we were canadian. then they busted out the nice silverware and sped up the service. so from my experience your statement seems false.
 
yeah, i'm calling bull shit. 95% of french people speak english. and when I was there, I was treated extremely well, and I am actually from the United States.

and how the fuck do you go about informing the staff that you're from america jr?
