just to see whats up, i played some mainstream rap songs. wow. the situation is worse then i thought. this one due is 'in his underweerrreee' i dont know what the hell is talking about. the same guy a song later is gettin errvrybudy in the club tipsy. then ya got chingy or whatever... i guess he practiacally lived in the holidy ian. then a bunch of wankSTAS 'copped' his shit and he now lives in mansions. did i mention he likes the way i do it right thurr? what the hell does that mean? he has never seen me! damn rappers.maybe ill be a rapper.... here are my lyrics...'bertches n sluts i furk um in da buuuutttt. slut nigga what?' pretty much my point is that rap sucks now a days. bnest shit out is all underground. i dont mind at all i just think that it is horrible what most people listen to.sorry for the long post

theres this song that some stupid bitch plays at my gym all the time they repeat one lyric over and over 'is you is or is you aint' they say it really fast over and over to a slightly modifed beat and it prolly took 3 minutes from concept to 10 million dollars

i have no problem with ppl liking underground, but i really do think it sucks. i enjoy hip hop because it puts me in a good mood, makes me want to party or whatever. underground is just boring to me and they have shitty beats and usually shitty flow. ill stimulate my brain in other ways, i dont need a rap song to do that for me. half of the ppl in this thread probly dont even listen to half this stuff their talking about anyway, they just want to sound like musical geniuses by talking shit about mainstream.

is it a problem that my tastes are different than yours? i've listened to a ton of underground, hieroglyphics, atmosphere, aesop rock, people under the stairs, just to name a few. i make it a point to listen to as much different types of music as i can. i simply just dont like it as much as the mainstream artists. and i dont just listen to the mtv pop stuff either, i'm really into the mix tape circuit, thats where you find the real good stuff.

i never said underground sucks, if someone thought i did. i think its good shit. and also i meant that mainstream in US, although shitty, is better than mainstream originating in the UK. i prefer some UK underground to US though.
