Anyone who would like to rant about anything can if they want but I was so annoyed today I just wanted to put it out there. searched for other rant threads but thought i'd make one for this season.
I understand people who are just learning in the park, I'm not that good myself, but BE CONSIDERATE> HOLY SHIT! i wanted to just hurt people today! when people cut you off, fall and take forever to get up on a feature or act like their going to hit something then cut out at the last minute its really frustrating and annoying. i hate having runs ruined by people who are clueless. i just wish people knew more etiquette and just common consideration sometimes instead of being douchebags.

I hate when the local riders think they own the park so they get to do whatever they want, I mean they may be good but thats no excuse to just snake people last minute.
 
I have been considering making a thread for the difference of There, They're, and Their for a little while now. Maybe this is a good place to put it instead of its own thread, since it is something that I have wanted to rant about for a while.

It is NOT hard to tell the difference between the the words listed above. Just take 1 second before you type to think about what you are trying to say.

Examples.

They're - I really like your new boots. They're really cool.

There - Park City looks like a lot of fun this season. I would love to get a chance to go there

Their - It makes me curious when people do not know their skiing history. Kandide?

I am not saying that everyone needs to be perfect, but this is a very easy concept and will help you sound a little less ignorant when you are trying to get your point across.

So just think, are you talking about a place (there), possesion (their), or are you contracting they are (they're)

Someone please correct me if I have made a mistake in this post.

So what your saying is people that can't get there simple, grade school English correct is pretty damn annoying. Their responding to a million different threads oblivious to they're ridiculous sounding sentence structure.

sry man, couldn't resist. It annoys the shit out of me too. And to the OP... you're right, the worst is when you have a small mountain to begin with and you finally sack up and tear down the in-run only to have a super determined snowplower zigzag in front of you. Guess what??? now you get to go back up the chair cause your favorite hit has just been compromised.
 
Went skiing today. Some gapers decided to learn boxes by walking up the lip, then stepping onto the box. They took for-fucking-ever to slide it, and destroyed the lip in the process.

 
I hate it when people are just completely retarted when it comes to grammar. Kinda lyk dis. Or mayb dat..... u dnt no me.
 
I hate when people do brainless stupid shit in the park. Ex: 2 years ago I see these 2 little kids probably about 4 or 5 trying to ski over the large jumps in the park. They couldn't get enough speed so they were basically walking or side stepping up the jumps and then skiing down the other side. Then they stopped on the table and walked to the knuckle and skied down. All this was in the afternoon, the park was crowded and guys were landing all around these kids. There was this hippie guy skiing with them. I assumed he was their dad and I skied up to him in my uni and started railing him. He said "those aren't my kids". I saw him later on with the same kids, so basically the fucker lied. In retrospect it was probably better that he did, otherwise I would have lost my job and probably been thrown in jail for beating the crap out of him. I have kids of my own and this was probably the dumbest thing I have seen any parent do. There was no alarm on this guys face at all when people were landing a foot away from his kids. If you ever see anyone doing this, you have my permission to curb stomp them.
 
i hate how all the skiiers are only doing dub 12's in teh big air comps, it is soo boring, luckily we have guys like Casabon throwing sick sw 10's, and being diferetn, after all, it is FREEstyle, not DUB12style
 
This reminds me of somthing last year. There was this kid who approached the landing to a jump. As he gets to the knuckle he decides that it is too steep for him to ski down, so he takes off both of his skis and throws them down into the middle of the landing. Then he proceeds to walk down the landing. A guy on the park crew then yells at him to get out of the way and starts walking toward him. Right after that another kid goes off the jump and drills the kid in the head with his nuts.
 
Are you retarded? 2 years ago everybody was hating on how EVERY SKIER was doing switch 10's in big air comps. And now it is considered the different thing to do? Fuck off.
