RANT on my jiberish/Level 1 Crew neck.

Ok, I'm so sad/frustrated right now. After only 2 times of washing, my (used to be so nice) level1 crew neck looks like complete shit. And yes, I read the instructions of how to wash it so that it stays nice. I'm am so pissed because that hoody was so dope and expensive and now this is how it looks. Only mystery is that only one side looks bad and the other one is intact. aahhhhhhhh wish I hadn't droped that much dough on jiberish... if only I had known that it would not look good for long. I love what jiberish does, but this quality is way not good for the price I paid. See for yourself... /rant
Good SIDE (still intact)

i don't think theres anything you can do to fix it but i would send an email to the jiberish guys, if you don't get a new hoodie from them at least they know to step up the quality for next year

yea, I always washed it inside out.
Do you think they'd send me a new hoodie? And should I write to jiberish or to Level 1? Cause I bought it off Level1's site

i got a jiberish hoodie the white and purple royalty fitted one and i didn't have the same problem with you but i'm just not stoked at all how it fits...pretty small...thought they were supposed to be huge...got 2xl btw

The EXACT same thing happened to my level 1 crew neck. It pisses me off. I love to support Jiberish but the quality this year sucks. I'm afraid to wash my oh word because this might happen again.

ahah, I also have the Oh Word!, and you can be sure that I'm not washing this beauty until it's too dirty to wear. Hope that this will never happen to my other hoods.

to everyone who things 2xl is small, take pictures of yourselves wearing these and prove it, because I somehow doubt those statements

you dont understand these things. It's hard being 6'3" and XXL oakley not being baggy. companies need to understand that if they dont make their clothes excessively tall, 6 inches longer would be premium, then it doesn't matter how fat (number of X's) it is, it just looks unflatteringly and gaper.

the same exact thing is happening to mine and i have only washed it once. im super bummed about it. let us know what jiberish or level 1 says man

Why would you rant about this on NS, what good does this do? Email L1 or Jiberish, if they don't fix it then come here and complain. There's no reason to dirty a companies rep without even talking to them first.

I'm not dirtying their image at all. Like I said, I love what they do and I'm probably one of the kids on this website that has the most of the pieces they come out with. Just pointing out that when I pay a bunch of money for something, I should expect a minimum of quality and that I should not get that kind of result with it and especially if you take you care of your clothes like crazy (my clothes are my babies haha).

lemme know what happeens with your email. and how the situation plays out. i got that sweater and the exact same peeling's occurred cept worse

I've washed my checkers multiple times, and it looks just fine. you must have put it the dryer or some shit. And the kid who said "I got the checkers and it's way too small, I got the 2xl by the way" unless you are 7 feet tall you are just a dip shit

i have nothing but good thiings to say about jiberish. they made my order right when they made a mistake. id say jus email them and tell em whats goin on.

i hate dry cleaning shit. it costs so much money, in a few washes you could've just bought another one.

Never, NEVER, ever dry anything that you really enjoy wearing. Shrinking, as you know, will occur. It's ruined plenty of my shirts and it is quite sad to see happen.

Hey guys I am really sorry about this. I would like the chance to explain it too if you will hear me out.

We recently discovered that some of the crew necks we had made for Level 1 had an issue with the ink on the back that was not treated with the same finish that the front was. This was not the case on all pieces but on the ones it happened on, the back ink cracks really badly. We are in the process of getting it sorted out and will accept any and all returns that had this happen. The Level 1 Hoodies we made this year did not go through the standard sample run which allows us to examine the pieces and ensure that they are fine when they hit the shelves. This was due to a tight timeframe we had. It is not something we have ever experienced before. I sincerely apologize to all customers of ours who have had this problem and if you just email us at info@jiberish.com we will take your returns and resolve the situation for you.

We have tried really hard over the past 4 years to create new clothing and new garments for you guys to wear. Sometimes things work and sometimes they don't. We try and learn from what does not to continue to improve what we offer. We appreciate every single one of your orders and support that you have all given us and I promise you that this is not something that we take lightly.

Please feel free to call me directly at the office anytime (303.339.0346) to discuss and as I mentioned before, please contact us to make sure we can fix this for you.

Thanks,

Pete

^^ i hope you guys hook him up nice because if i was in his position i wouldnt be to thrilled either.

not hatin btw, i love your stuff i just dont have the dough to drop on it.

Can you read? He said that he would make sure it gets resolved. Has Jiberish ever fucked anyone of their customers over? I doubt it because if they did I can assure you the kids on this site would never let them hear the end of it since most of their clothing is sold to the kids on here.

I have never had an issue with anything Jiberish related but if I did I would just pick up the phone and call them or send an email instead of bitching to a bunch of 16 year olds hypothesysing about what happened.

And to the thread creator, you titled your thread "RANT on my jiberish/Level 1 Crew neck" how about ranting if they screw you over instead of blasting them without knowing how they are going to handle it?

Make sure if you email us use: infobox@jiberish.com Pete had the wrong email address in his response.

I second all of Pete's comments and rest assured we are taking action every year to make better and better quality clothing and update any areas that were not perfect. We are super particular about what comes out and take steps every year to better ourselves. Sometimes minor issues are inevitable but that is where we are here to take care of you guys, so let us know!!

...again, make sure to email infobox@jiberish.com or call (303.339.0346)

Cheers,

Gabe Anderson

thanks guys, I'll email you. I'm happy to know that you'll try your possible to help your clients out. Sorry if some people took this thread as an insult and thought that I was bashing on jiberish, but I just had to point this problem out (and it's not a bad thing, because other people that are in my position also know what to do now). Jiberish is def one of the best companies out there, best styles every season and always nice colors. And when my problem is resolved, I'll be making a thread on how Legit Jiberish is haha.

Bam. Companies like this are the ones that deserve your support, so take notice of what just happened. We want people who handle problems like this to thrive in this industry so that they'll be the ones supplying product in years to come and they'll be the ones who have your back if on some rare occasion something goes wrong.

Huge good form points for Jiberish.

I have the oh word but im afraid to wash it for this exact reason.
anyone wanna send me the directions to wash jiberish clothes to keep em nice+++k for anyone who tells me how to wash it correctly

Just wanted to say this is a great thread, and Jiberish proved they are an awesome company. My crew neck should be fine when I wash it, but I am glad to see they will help me out if anything goes wrong.
