Bummed. Cousin is going to a concert in Vegas this weekend. Was trying to get it to work. "Party in the park" event got moved to this Saturday. Looked like there might still be a chace but yeah boss says i can't go.
I get it. Unfortunate timing but yeah. Haven't seen him in a while and he just lost his mom so was really looking forward to hanging out. Im bummed but i can't really quit my job to go. Also even if I was thinking of getting sendy I'm in employee housing.

Also got everything in disco and forest pretty much before i left for my weekend. Left shit extra crisp. Added some features and some flow stuff to forest.
Was trying to at least make things sick for party in the park. Obviously things get fucked everyday in the sun but you can see the lack of maintenance consistently. I get its late season and people are over it but you gotta stay in point.
Also not the craziest thing in the world but seemed fun. Was going to add a bowl and maybe a hip.
Somebody came back to work cranky and dozed it flat.
Idk just kind of annoying when people doze shit you just built that was fine on a trail they never groom. My last week I groomed all of forest 7 or 8 days in a row. So felt comfortable adding some stuff.
Just sucks to not have any of that now and I have to stay in CA to work the event.
Flow stuff an be annoying to groom. I dont mind it but people dig it. From average jabroni family to people finding sick lines. That stuff that I built I could have maintained stand alone in 10 minutes.
Boss man said fuck it, I could rebuild it if I wanted and that it was kinda bullshit it go dozed and replaced with nothing. Honestly just don't have it in me. Rebuilt. Bunch of shit and got other stuff looking good again.
Basically you can skimp on some stuff night to noght or if youre building but if you never push snow up to shit this time of year. Your takeoffs need to get rebuilt and the rails start leaning.
Idk, if people are going to maintain shit whatever. But don't kill the features i just built. Also had 2 lines of 4 rails. They were a little tight. I like em tight but they were def kind of tight. Had been there for 2 weeks no issues. Had maintained them on some busy ass days.
Planned to set them further apart next rebuild or at least after the weekend. Instead they were getting pulled yesterday instead of putting anything back left blank.
Managed to get a few back in. So now forest has several less features then i left it going into this event.
Idk it's jist snow whatever, but obviously who have to care a bit about the parks and making them fun for peoples or nobody would be doing this job

It’s not that we couldn’t have sunscreen it’s how she wouldn’t let me get a SPF70 since it was $3 more, I get that it may be marketing SPF70 isn’t 2x as better as 30, but when you’re absolutely fried already and have a whole week left at the equator, idgaf if it only works 5% better, I want it. Rant is about being adults yet treated like a kid “put it back we can’t afford $3 more” then my wife proceeds to spend $15 on a single wine/pinacolada with every meal.
I don’t mind them but I have a happy life at home in Colorado, I could live without them I just don’t wanna be given shit about what I spend on cars when wife always chooses the vacation (I just realized this yesterday, if we don’t consider going back to home state as a vacation, I’ve never actually gotten to choose a single vacation). Growing up in MN our spring breaks were ski trips, then when even MN gets hot in summer we would usually go somewhere like Canada. Now that I’m married to my wife it’s always some place with oppressive heat/humidity south of the border, now Aruba is dope because all their water is desalinated so you don’t get sick, but my wife gets food poisoning on every vacation (she was even hospitalized in equador, robbed in Nicaragua….) but she still loves it so much she keeps going

as shallow as it sounds, I feel like this is kind of not a bad idea. Granted if you don’t make much money and aren’t well off by your late 30s you’re F’d and most women are making tons of money by then with their degrees.

Utilities bill this month is totally-cooked and Im scared to tell my landlord I know the source of the leak in my bathroom toilet cuz I did that at my one house in Salt Lake and they ended up charging me for repairs. She's aware of it.
So I was bitching about dude plowing the flow park I started and pulling a bunch of jibs on my day off.
Replaced it with nothing and we had party in the park today. Well last night I yolod and finished resetting jibs and rebuilt the flow park.
Would have been way sicker if I could have added to it the last few days. Was gonna build a half bowl on each side below the volcano with a boob in the middle.
Rebuilt the previous setup and just added a small spine hip below. Mostly hit the pipe but took a lap through lower forest and it was super fun.
Dude that dozed the stuff is prolly gonna give me a bunch of shit but whatever. People were having fun riding it and park crew were super hyped.
Hoping I dont end up in some bullshit beef with this guy but whatever. I groomed this trail 7 days in a row, and prolly grooming it 6 days this week. That guy never grooms this trail. I think he drove buy and saw it and decide he didnt like it cause it takes 2 extra seconds to maintain and dozed it. Kinda a bullshit move imo.
But yeah shit was mad fun today. Party in the park went off
