Would love to do a phish dicks next time I'm in America for summer though. Only done 2 but was a blast and have friends in Denver that I can crash with.
Hell, you could get a room at the embassy or double tree, a tank, a bunch of drinks, some party favors and spend less than the packages people bought for vegas.
Vegas is cool enough idk. Fun but overrated I guess to me.

First day back at work in a week. Got a shitload of projects to finish by Wednesday next week, then off to Mammoth for a week.
Pretty sure my boss hates me for the PTO, but multiple of my coworkers leave for a month at a time so its gotta be better than that. Plus I'm Gunna work from Mammoth/Reno since my legs will be fried after one day.

Moosilauke which is my favorite 4k footer in NH) and the students there seem to be more down-to-earth than the people I've met from other Ivys.

The whole never being in the office thing going at work is just not working for me. A lot of items not being discussed which means key deadlines are being missed and I’m waiting on answers to finish my stuff. Gotta schedule meetings a week out for things that would normally just come up in conversation if people were actually ever here. I’m just sitting here feeling lost in the middle of it.

A tangent about shamelessness. The other day at big sky, it was pretty cold and windy. I was waiting at the top of a main lift for friends and I watched a snowboarder in a crop top, on her knees, doing the dumbest fucking dance thing with her arms for The Tok. She has to be freezing, looked so out of place in her athleisure clothes and rental goggles/helmet, total goof blocking the sign for other tourists just trying to take family pictures for like 5 minutes, and the dance wasn't even close to good. I don't like to judge people too much but that was over the top dumb. I didn't see her ride away but I can't imagine she was very good or even enjoying that day with her kit... Ive noticed this thing as an entry-level EMT of two years where people almost want really bad shit to happen and its like yeah obviously we all want real-time experience but its just really strange, especially when a lot of your job as a patroller ive learned is to mitigate risks and hazards to prevent bad things from happening.

I just hope you have enough money for all the copays for therapy. I used to be an ER tech and some of the stuff I saw still bothers me to this day, so idk. People need to be cautious of that "two year syndrome" where you think you have it dialed when in reality its nothing but at all. Its why its called medical practice because you're constantly practicing and learning.

how the fuck am i so stupid!!!! fuck me fuck me fuck me! delta had me check my bag cause there was zero room in the over head bins, so i moved my toiletries bag which had all my asthma, allergy and psych meds in it to my backpack. Musts fell outta my backpack on the flight or something while the bag was open and under the seat. Lost all my psych meds and am gonna have the worst withdrawals. My asthma is really well controlled but i’m pretty nervous about not having daily steroids and my rescue inhaler and my face is alr puffy and sinuses fucked from losing my sinus sprays and missing my evening dose. Called phoenix sky harbor, they couldn’t do anything, deltas baggage and lost and found is closed. worst is one of my psych meds is not prescribed for people under 18 so i have samples and can’t get the prescription sent to a pharmacy here, just got the allergy ones refilled so getting those sent here will be a pain in the ass also. fuck me
