Had them since 2015. Now I gotta find someone new for a plan. Sucks cause I leave for 5 or 6 months in the summer sometimes. Not gonna pay for a plan in the states that whole time. Idk. I'll figure it out. Just sucks I had no working phone for January and now finally found out that I can't use my phone at all with straight talk anymore.

Just wasted a month trying to sort it out because I wanted the time I'd paid for at least. Idk. Just have enough other stuff to sort out at the moment.

i was told i need to buy my own car in December, so i spent my whole break working my ass off, i had christmas off and then one other day, along with working some nights to save for a car and not take too much from my savings. was able to make close too 2500$ over the almost 2 weeks. found an immaculate condition 2008 xc90 3.2i awd w/ 160,000k miles, 2 owners, second of which was a volvo mechanic who was selling due to a deal on a newer one. Had bluetooth, abs, blis, all the volvo roll protection etc, roof rails and cross bars listed at 4500 got the seller down to 3900. Showed him a proof of founds and said i would buy it pending a pre purchase inspection. Made the appt for the inspection and informed my parents because they told me im on my own and they’d help with insurance and co sign on the title. They both flipped shit talking about how irresponsible it was and how unappreciative I was I can borrow their extra car. Mind u they told me after december it’s gone and i’m on my own getting to work and crew. Then forced me to tell the seller I could no longer purchase the car. Which was pretty rude considering he was gonna take off to meet me at a third party for a pre purchase inspection, along with cut me quite the deal.

on the bright side two days after this they told me they purchased a 2015 honda pilot touring for 12k cash with 170k miles on it having never seen it in person, and that i would have it till i go to school and they’d get rid of it. Just doesn’t make sense to me, i’d rather have them put the 12k towards school or trips or family etc. I just don’t understand y anytime i have independence they get upset and feel the need to force me to be indebted to them.

You write up an incident report to cover your ass basically. But then if they don’t remember… what they don’t know won’t hurt them. I do believe the docs discuss that they had some awareness during the procedure but may not remember it. You don’t want them to create false memories or anything but they do need to know about it in case they have surgery again. You also gotta be careful because they may have PTSD like symptoms later on. For instance, right before their next surgery/procedure or the next time they feel intense pain, it could trigger their memory which would obviously be terrible.

So I haven't had a working phone this month(Thanks Verizon) so I haven't gotten texts or calls Since late Dec.

Cousin messaged me on facebook about my Aunts health. I called my dad while I was at the shop at work today. Apparently my Aunt wasn't feeling good after Thanksgiving and ended up in the hospital on after Christmas.

I guess she's got pancreatic cancer they just found around new years. I guess they were saying she had a few months to live. Now it's a couple weeks tops. May not make it through the next few days.

Fucking gnarly. Im glad I went back to NY to their house for Thanksgiving. Hadn't seen her or a lot of family in a couple years.

Crazy that she just got diagnosed a month ago and is going home tomorrow and will be on hospice.

I wanna thank my Grandmas hospice nursing and care staff for keeping her stoked in her last moments of life. She passed a week before Thanksgiving last season. Never got to say goodbye to her which still stings to this day, but just try to connect with her as much as you can and reminisce if she mattered to you. That and my Grandpa Bob. He passsed away not too long after I moved to UT with my family. A hard-ass Marine that didn't take no shit and always tried to steal my ice cream lol

unfortunately had to put down my childhood dog blue this morning. very sudden and scary. went down to evl dropped my sister off to race and went to coach and got a call just as i got my boots in that i need to rush to the animal hospital and get my sister because the dog had a seizure and then couldn’t move and was heaving up blood. They kept him stable enough to buy us time to get the hour there and see him, after that he just put his head down and was ready to go so he was put down. still hasn’t even hit me tbh, i’m just still in shock.

went skiing this afternoon to cheer myself up and hated all 9 runs i did. So many fucking people and terrible sandy bumpy conditions. Did some runs with homies I haven’t seen who wanted to catch up on college decisions, life and comforted me about the dog which was nice. Left after 4 park laps and 5 normal laps. I’m starting to hate holidayvalley with a passion
