I think that this has been a real mask off moment for most of the (farther) left. The unwillingness to condemn a group and it's actions that negatively effect both the Palestinian and Israeli people. Acting as a mouthpiece for terrorists in the case of multiple reputable news organizations in the last week and quite literally posting "fake news". Using history as a justification where it is convenient, and ignoring history when it is not. All to justify attrocity and draw a moral equivalency where there is none.

The list of Israel's sins is long, and one can absolutely be critical of Israel. But if that is the case criticism of Hamas, and to an extent the Palestinians in Gaza is warranted as well.

yeah the palestinians should just go walk over and smoke a peace pipe with the IDF soldiers who just got done annexing their homes and killing their families. fuck that i’d be launching rockets too.

Depends all on the year. I’d say they are good, in a sense that they are thick shells, very wind proof and decently waterproof, but they aren’t fancy materials and lightweight like newer techy gear.

There is no Israeli occupation in Gaza. Israel forcibly removed settlements and Israelis from Gaza in 2005 . Following this Hamas was elected and took control of the Gaza strip in 2006 and 2007.

Occupation does exist in the west bank and the west bank is administratively run by the Palestinian Authority. These are two different places, with two different issues.

On October 7th, Hamas militants crossed into Israel from Gaza, killing, torturing, and kidnapping civilians by the hundreds. Including children and infants. I could send some of the videos if you would like. Hamas militants chopping off the head of a foreign worker really does scream "justified revolution" apparently

But thank you for proving my point that many are very willing to be confident incorrect and not understand any of the differences or nuances of the issue.

i have seen those videos. i’ve also seen videos of israelis filling wells with cement, forcibly removing palestinians from their homes, and giving 10 minute warnings before calling in airstrikes on the others.

most importantly i’ve seen videos of gazan protesters tear gassed, beat up, and hosed down. that has been going on for a decade if not longer.

so my question is. in your head at what point will it be acceptable for palestinians to use force themselves? the average age is just over 18 (many of their parents have been killed), they have very little drinking water, and their homes are either rubble or have been annexed. they are forbidden from crossing the border to leave. protests have been tried and failed countless times. what options do they have left?

The median age is 18 because they have way too fucking many kids and reject any form of family planning. The strip has never been able to sustain itself yet they still managed to double their population in the past 20 years.

That's just about the easiest thing to get in terms of international aid. If they'd accepted it, they would have it. Organizations like the Gates foundation literally give it away, it's such a cost effective way of reducing poverty.

Do you think that counties and NGOs enjoy having to send hundreds of millions of dollars in food aid each year?
 
never thought i’d say this but getting a teacher off topic intentionally ducking pisses me off. the past three days in ap lit the fuckin crystal girls in my class have the teacher reading tarot cards and going around talking about how well peoples signs describe them in our class. my dads car is in the shop getting a bunch of wiring harnesses replaced, so he took mine and just left me at the doctors office this morning with no way to get home or to school. and now i have to pay 25$ for a uber ride to school ?

he’s lucky he’s got federal insurance and my moms a director at a hospital. but my checking is down to like 30$ now after that :/
 
It's the constant battle. You can still get around it though. There are a bunch of guides online for how to set your adblocker up to still work

so i’m learning patience. changed my own oil for the first time in my 31 years of life like 2 weeks ago. today my car is rocking a check engine light and the computer apparently won’t let the engine go above 3000 rpm. my 0-60 time was a cool 41 seconds with my foot to the floor lol. went to autozone and they said there was no code and they think it needs general maintenance so i got an air filter and spark plugs. there seems to be oil everywhere. like in the air filter and on the spark plugs. seems suspicious. am i fucked? worth noting that the whole reason i changed the oil is because the oil level was high. coolant was also low so i topped that off too and everything has stayed in the same spot for 1,500 miles so hoping its not a head gasket thing. send help. cars fuckin suck

Did the oil look a little bit like a chocolate milkshake? A blown head gasket would explain you oil level being high and your coolant being low. What vehicle are we talking about? Probably not a Subaru because you wouldn't have immediately jumped to replacing spark plugs ?

not a rover v8 cause the coolant would be full of runny dog poop textured oil, with grey liquid seeping out the side of the block

maybe a lil bit but idk cause it was my first oil change do i had nothing to compare it to. spark plugs were not great so its firing much better after. also i located the primary problem lol. the cords must have been chewed last night

I decorated the store for trick or treaters b/c downtown is hosting a trick or treat and everyone has skipped our store-- even when standing outside :( feels bad man
