Fuck being broke and rehabbing an injury with no insurance as well.

These Temu ads are hitting hard like the chimpokomon episode of south park. YOU GOT TO BUY IT GOT TO BUY IT YEAAAAAHHHHHH

except I ain't buying that trash

Family parties when it’s not your family is the most boring shit ever I think I repeated the same college small talk of where I’m going and what I’m majoring a hundred times

Firefighter bros you guys gotta go back to Basic school some days, my guys. Especially ones in SLC.

Really dropping off dudes with TBI's/Neck/Back injuries who have blunt trauma all over their body with zero spinal precautions and you thought it was a suicide attempt? Homie got rushed out of the pysch ward and upgraded to a Trauma II and spent the night in the SICU only to find out that SLCPD said it was an attempted assault and the guy got jumped by 5 dudes. I'm a rookie myself and make tons of mistakes still but holy fuck use a C-Collar for once. It's not all hose dragging, growing mustaches, and jerking off together in the firehouse. I'll never live down the one time I forgot to slap one on a kid this past winter patrolling and I still get nightmares about it.

Parents dog got attacked by another dog that was off leash

Can you guess the breed?

It ain’t a pitbull thing bro. Ive had 4 pit bulls growing up, 3 of them being rescues not a single one ever big any person/dog. It’s all about how they are trained.

More like the lack of training. People will get a dog and expect it to know how to behave without any training, wont spend the time with it and guide it to be a decent trained dog. Then get all upset when it wont listen or behave when in a situation and be like IDK why they act that way. Some people shouldnt have dogs/animals...or kids, lol.

I do find it somewhat ironic that I did not say the breed that attacked.

Yet you immediately go to defending the "pibbles"

Pibbuls are such bullshit dogs sometimes. Only dog I've ever been bit by. Friends adopted one from a shelter once and the mf just chomped my calve for existing in their kitchen.

My dog is part pit for sure and I know 100% that off leash ain't an option and to take it super slow with strangers and new dogs. A golden retriever he is not. I love him but there's no denying his aggressive nature.

Only dog that’s ever attacked and bit me was a Dalmatian lol

I’ve only been bit by pitbulls too (never been bit by my pitbulls) (not including bites from my own German shepherd) and i am not denying that they aren’t naturally more aggressive. What im saying is that when they’re trained properly they can easily be good dogs but most ppl who buy pitbulls don’t put in the time to train them or socialize them (or just completely abuse or neglect them) so they end up being a danger to others. Also a lot of pitbull owners don’t use their brains. Although mine are super friendly and have had zero problems I would NEVER even consider bringing them off leash and I supervise them heavily even tho they’re always on a leash in public. I do not let children pet my pitbulls even tho I am fairly confident they would react well. I also believe if you see a pitbull in public it’s smart to not approach it without asking because 75% of pitbulls aren’t trained properly

So let me see....these are your arguments that pitbulls are good?

- my pitbulls are well trained and it's only the owners fault

-also they are naturally aggressive

-also I would never leave it off leash

-also I would never let it close to children

??????????

I’ve never had one so idk but a friend left their dog and their family friends pit Bull alone and left for like two hours and when they came back the pitbull had killed and shredded the other dog

I’ll sum it up. Pitbulls are naturally dangerous and aggressive. With the right owner they can be good dogs. It’s more of an owner problem than a dog breed problem

Why do all the conspiracy theories these days have to end up in weird racist alt right territory. I've had several that popped up from friends on social in the last day or two that went right to weird problematic race stuff.

Smoke a joint, tell me about the aliens. All good

But the sketchy stuff? Yikes

My sister has a pit that has bit 4 people, including my father. She regularly gets upset at me for being unwilling to go over to her house. She’s had a house for 2 years and I’ve never been over lmao

It's hot so I want to keep my window open but there's a god damn alarm going off somewhere withing a quarter mile what the fuk

Clearly it isn't hooked into to any kind of service or law enforcement as it's been going for 15+ minutes SO WHY HAVE IT AT ALL

1073661.pngIt's underrated just how vicious Weiner dogs can be. My right middle finger will always have a deep scar in it because of one of these demons. Every pitbull I've encountered has been nice to me.

just slightly annoyed my coach didn’t tell me until four days before my race i have to go lightweight from 168 to 159.5lbs and now i’m on my second bike of the day and rowed this morning and have eaten next to nothing but kale

A pit bull tore my 9 wk old leashed puppy’s face open once, I will never have a pit bull b/c I can’t deal with them & my dog hates them.

“Bro it’s not their fault, it’s the owners!

Sure, they were bred to hunt bears and bulls, are naturally hyper aggressive, have been banned or regulated in 13 countries, and are responsible for over 60% of all dog attacks, but it’s the owners fault bro!”

Like dawg, you gotta take a step back and reflect on what you’re saying for a second. Sure, there are some good dogs out there with owners who properly train them. But when you have statistics that look like this:

1073680.jpeg

Then maybe it isn’t really such an owner thing? Like the mf’s were literally bred to aggressively bait bears and fight other dogs. The “bad owners” argument isn’t worth much when the statistic is that skewed.

I like pitties. I think many pit bulls are sweetie pies. Bunch of haters in these comments. One Google shows that half these statistics people are pulling up at BS.

Got placed on a PIP at work (performance improvement probation/plan) and as my bosses put it, if I my name comes across their desk even once then I'm fired.

I'm not the best healthcare worker but I don't mean to put anyone elses asses on the line or even worse, harm our patients, but I've been deemed incompetent and non-proactive which sucks to hear, I felt I've been doing pretty OK recenly while being on nightshift and dealing with tough staffing ratios, but it is what it is. I'm not mad, just sad and dissapointed in myself.

With being laid off being said, I will be having to move back to MI for a few just to clear my head and get some breathing room. I think part of the difficulties of working in healthcare can be also due to stressors outside of work, like insane cost of living, being behind on bills, and simply just not having any money at all to seek out additional help or therapy. My life in the last year has literally been turning and burning any sort of paychecks towards bills, gas and food, and some weeks its either one or the other, so it's really really hard to show up to work everyday ready to "Save lives" when you cant even save your own. I'm not blaming other people for my mistakes but it's just how it is for some people. Id rather be unemployed for a minute surrounded by my family then work 40+ hours/week with the threat of homelessness looming.
