I hate when you knock on a public washroom door and there's no response so you open the door, and boom, there's someone in there. Why did you not respond? Either lock the door or respond! Better yet, both! And then they get angry at you for opening the door on them. And on the other side, when people don't knock, they just twist and tug and slam as if the door is just jammed and they know it's empty. God people are annoying.
 
Had a super stellar day at work. Trying to get transfered at the moment.

Shit was fucked. Also had my laptop charger break. Also had my phone charging port break.

Pretty fucking good day.

On the plus I finally have a fucking day off tomorrow. And there was a really dope sunset on my drive home. I wish I wasn't so pissed off so I could have gotten a good pic of it.

Hoping my next week is better. But I feel like I'm working with the bteam. Not sure how anyone can put so little effort into maintaining features.

People are constantly bitching about pay too. Place actually pays much better than most places. And peoples work ethic is garbage. People should be stoked they still have jobs.

Idk how you can do a shit job everyday, and go home stoked. Not my jam.

Hoping we can get our shit together as a team or I can get to another spot where they do. Luckily the season is almost over and I can head back to the southern hem and do work.

Idk, I have no tolerance for lazy people and garbage building. Make things look nice and ride nice or gtfo.

today's my birthday and it appears my xbox 360 just broke.

I've been eating so good, like 100% homecooked or a decent restaurant, and working out. Drove for like 8 hours today super tired, thought I could still drink an energy drink, a shitload of pop and eat a Big Mac meal. Holy fuck feels like something gut punched me from the inside. Ski patrol at my hill is on me about everything. I pissed them off when I was complaining about the management like three years ago and now they are watching me like a hawk so they can pull my pass when I fuck up.

Those old bitches can't ski anyways. Fuck the Midwest and fuck granite peak. Everybody knows each other and it is stupid.

sidecountry resort laps are a fuckin blast with friends when conditions allow for it like today. it was just a shame seeing nearly 90% of people passing through boundary gates without any sort of gear. hey, good thing you got recco though, right? at least patrol can find your stiff frozen body for your parents.

I wish Tahoe had sidecountry....would make things a little easier. But most resorts I've been to with sidecountry have a check at the gates to make sure you have shovel and beacon...seems odd that they dont

they had patrol shacks at the start of the gates/bootpacks but I really only saw patrollers adjusting ropelines, not much beacon/shovel/probe checking. maybe it has something to do with liability? I can easily see a case in court where if the patroller themselves said you were good and something ends up happening, the resort is in some huge shit.

its shocking there aren't more incidents with the amount of boneheads out there. im a greenhorn with this touring/backcountry stuff but that's the number 1 takeaway ive had so far: don't be like those fucking derelicts. its peoples lives on the line, not just fresh turns;.

shit was deep out there tho.

I understand the solution and have discussed is in depth with a lot of people and would rather not get into it here. Saying kill your local heroin dealer is a sentiment well received by a lot of people who have had serious negative impact in a community and is obviously not meant to be taken literally. And in some cases, someone wouldn't pop up right away necessarily. But anyways you don't need to preach to me about that shit.

I'm not on a high horse. I'm just tired of hearing the same bullshit regarding drugs. This has nothing to do with music festivals, and honestly if it matters that much to you, I felt this way long before I ever even went to one.

People are going to do drugs, deal with that, fucking move on, and lets make some positive changes as a society.

Or just stay butthurt that people you know are dying, all well keeping the same bullshit alive that's helping to kill them. That sounds pretty proactive.

It would be cool if we could get rid of certain drugs or at least curb their usage. Unfortunately that's easier said than done if not impossible. "Kill your local heroin dealer" is something I hear all the time, a lot of times by ignorant fucks, and then other times by those grieving.

People are going to do drugs, fucking deal with it everyone.

Yeah but the lower elevation stuff is so good right now. Never know how long it will last. Also some of the very best skiing I've done has been recently so I cannot stop thinking about how good it was. You are right though we can get good turns for quite a while still. Actually one of my goals is to ski year round at least once per month for 12 months consecutive. Still haven't made it so maybe this will be the year.

Oh well if nothing else I have Saturday off and it is supposed to dump so I shouldn't have to wait too long.

same, I like my job but damn I cant stand being worked like a dog and not being able to make that much OT because im not a salaried employee. they'll pay it but it wont be anything to write home about, some of my days off are placed in between pay periods so that its a set 40 hours per week like normal which is wack. just nut up and pay us our dues, yo.

Same, but more with things like hostess snacks. My work is like an "official outlet" for them and when I started I'd grab a box of something hostess on my break or on my way out. Now if I eat one coffee cake or something my stomach just feels clenched. I ate one little like 2"x2" brownie with m&ms and 3 hours later at home I was on the shitter bending over in sheer pain. I've just started eating healthier snacks like granola and fruit, now I gotta lay off candy...

If I hit mcdicks or one of those spots I only get fries and nuggets but usually just fries, still haven't had a fast food burger except five guys, cause that shits good but can kill me if I already have something in my stomach. Usually if I'm with my friends I try and get subway at the least but after hearing that their chicken is like 50% chicken I can't even do that. Ive just been trying to save money lately, I use to end up spending a lot cause I usually road trip 2 hours 1-3 times a week to ski. I just make my own lunch or pack some fruit and granola bars for the drive and lift rides.

Dude i just let some dipshit go ham on the bathroom door here at work in one of our lobbies (which has another bathroom/washroom). Its not a stall but an actual door so he damn near broke the lock freaking out at the common area cleaner mopping the floor like "its locked! Its locked! What do i do?!?!?!?". Go up to your multi million dollar condo to grunt one out, fucko.

These people must have their assistants hold a bedpan under their asses just like cartman and his mother in SP.
