went from 0 job ideas to a reference for an emt job in the middle of ass fuck nowhere northern bc, or a job on canadian pacific as a laborer of which i'm also pretty sure I could get with my references...

So my doucher roommate got fired. I feel for people, i really do. But this guy is trying to start shit with anyone right now. Was laying into my roommates who worked with me and I stepped in and shut it down and told him to fuck off. He needed to hear it.

It sucks to lose your job. If you wasnt to be pissed be pissed, vent, whatever. But don't start shit with people that didn't do anything to you.

Fuck, I lent him my laptop today when I needed it so he could apply for jobs and shit. ended up being like 3 hours. But I didn't complain about it. Was down to help him out. But if you're going to talk shit to me, and then I call you out and you've got nothing to say? Fuck you.

Don't fucking step to me with some bullshit problem, and then not even be able to articulate what the fuck is going on. If you have a problem, make it known but nobody has time for bullshit. Leave your fucking bullshit at the door.

I felt a bit bad for him even though him getting fired was his fault, but now fuck him. Stoked he's gone in 3 days. I'll still buy him a bus ticket if he needs because im a nice guy, but jesus fuck he's pushing his luck.

Don't be a fucking douche. If you're wondering why people aren't treating you well, look first at yourself. Also we've been feeding him, he's been drinking our booze, and everyone has been more than nice to him.

It really sucks when your job doesn't provide you with sick days and you can't afford to miss work so you have to nut up and go even though you feel like death because bills, rent, food, etc.

tru. employers who don't do a very good job at accommodating employees who are sick are equally at fault. Especially in service jobs where you're in constant contact with co workers, customers, food, etc. Seriously one person gets sick and then the whole staff is sick and its gross.

kinda sucks getting sent home too. Ive been cut loose from work multiple days.

always get a bad one this time of year. Struggling to ski which probably isnt good for the immune system buildup either.

This dude somehow lost his keys (on purpose i think) and then stole a ceramic plate from the condo he was staying in and is holding it hostage till we send him his keys which doesnt make sense cuz i think he purposely lost his keys and just wanted to make a statement of sorts.

I almost want to find a storm drain or a portapotty to throw them down.

I thought my roommate stole my laundry detergent but felt bad about saying anything with no proof. Figured I left it somewhere last semester and was being a cunt for not taking responsibility.

But today I went to my friends to do laundry(first time I've been here to do it - my roommate does her laundry here all the time though) AND LO AND BEHOLD MY FUCKING DETERGENT IS HERE. And I know it's fucking mine because it's the Safeway brand that isn't sold here and I bought it in Oregon this summer. So fuck her. I hadn't opened it yet and the whole thing was gone.

It makes me mad because I make less than half of what she makes with all the same expenses and she still steals from me. Then complains about money when she is doing much better than I am and it's fucking frustrating.

i feel the same way. i don't want to see people hurt but if youre not gonna listen to our rules after being told, then assume the risks and do not come for my head when something bad happens.

like in a perfect world, patrol would just let dumb gapers who go out of bounds get buried and die, but in reality someone has to ultimately put their own life in harms way to go get them. so you gotta do something about that.
 
My roomates argentinian girlfriends or whatever they are should go to their own homes to yell in spanish at each other.

Really just the fact that they are loud, and dont fucking live here. But theyre here all the time. The one pretty much lives here.

Already 4 deep in employee housing. I just want to be able to relax in my own fucking apartment i pay rent for.

Maybe ill just throw a big party tomorrow night and not tell my roomates.

Fucking got sick and stayed home for a week. No work no ski barely even ate. Sounds like big pow days while I was out too. Went back to Timberline yesterday and it started raining right after I got there. Hopefully got this out of my system. Good grief.

The last time I flew I sat close to the most inconsiderate fucks on this planet. Never have I wanted to put my foot through somethings head that bad. Well, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ski for the rest of the year... I made an agreement with my parents that I was supposed to complete my whole class by the end of the semester (I do online school btw) or no skiing. I didn't do ONE assignment and they're super pissed off right now. I hope that they will let me ski but I would rather kill myself than be fully functional and not ski.

I feel like nobody takes pride in their work these days. Also people just need to fuck off and worry about their own work.

Stoked that i re did all but one take off in our one park and a bunch in the other. Skipped breaks and "oops my radio is off" and crushed it solo. At least the park looks half way respectable now. But jesus the half ass nature is rough.

If people dont want to work whatever but stay the fuck away from me and let me do my job.

The heroin epidemic in big sky is pretty real right now, has been for a few years. A couple days ago two people were arrested with a bunch of the shit in their car with intent to distribute. Naturally most of the town is stoked that at least a few of the sorry mother fuckers bringing this garbage into our town have been taken care of, but there are quite a few people actually sympathizing with these scumbags and it makes my blood boil. Two fatal overdoses in two years (which in a town this small is pretty bad) and people still think its ok to say that heroin dealers aren't bad people? fuck off.
 
So fed up with the elitist Midwest park-rats. Can't enter a terrain park without getting shit from some low-life skid about your gear or style. People single each other out, it feels just like highschool, but at the ski hill.

Terrain crew can rot in hell man. Catch me in Wyoming next year while you're still living in the meth hub that is the upper midwest.

Stirred up some shit at work today. Luckily got talked to about and everythings chill.

That said kind of fucked when you work your ass off to make things decent and people are giving you shit.

I really hate a lot about the ski industry but im too passionate for my own good. Doubt ill ever get away but some plsce make you strongly consider.
