I'm only going back as far as Shanghai Six cause thats as far back as I have seen:

1. Turbo

2. Shanghai Six

3. Refresh

4. Long Story Short

5. Realtime

1) High Five2) Shanghai 6, Forward3) Long Story Short, Refresh4) Turbo
besides High Five (it was the first ski movie i ever saw besides Warren Miller stuff) they are all reallly close.

its sick that everyone has different answers, another testament to how legit and consistent Level 1's movies are

Uh... this shouldn't even be a thread... L1P's movies get better every year, because the level of skiing increases every year. Significantly.

This list is based on how stoked I was after the premier. keeping in mind I missed this years and watched it online(my own little premeir). I also never went to the premiers of balance second generation and strike three(I think those are the names) and haven't even seen the former two ..
1.Forward- I know it's trendy, but D.C's segment is my second favourite of all time, and hibberts is awesome too2. Long Story Short - still watch it all the time, this is when level one begun contending with PBP and matchstick in my opinion as far as film quality3.Turbo- biggest progression from the year before (I can't even remember the name of the year before was it realtime)3. Refresh- warren miller made this movie awesome, too much urban, still waiting for my DVD that I ordered weeks ago though so my mind might change.5.Shanghai six- honourable mention for best trailer

1. Long Story Short

2. Shanghai Six

ReFresh

Real Time

Long story short

forward

strike 3

second generation

balance

the feel of that whole movie is AMAZING. the urban seggys are nuts, the keystone seggy is nuts, the ender with the DL song is nuts.

its not necessarily the tricks, the overall feel of that movie just gets me psyched to ride.

wow, i can't even rank them, i would not know where to start, looking at all the titles in one place is.... legendary... they are all amazing therefore i cannot rank them

I felt the same, the ending just got you so pumped same with hornbeck's and ahmet's part in refresh

1. Refresh

2. Shanghai Six

3. Real Time

4. Forward

5. Turbo

6. LSS

1. Second Generation-Shot mostly on the east coast, first ski movie i purchased(VHS), introduced a lot of new names to the me. I thought of it as an introduction to the world, this is the 2nd gen of park skiers, and they all kill it.

2. Foward

3. Refresh

4. Turbo

5. S6

realtime is one of my favorite movies. The formatting is especially what caught my eye. It was one of the first films that didnt do segments by riders. and it was super long with a good ratio of bc/park. i fuckin love that movie.

agree, i loved the theme of the movie in that it was a kinda "season review" by location rather than a movie that went by each skier edit. the jap pow was just epic and the jibbing around denver too

i dunno, i bought refresh, and i still need to learn to not listen to NS hype cause it was fine, but not NEARLY...even CLOSE to the level you kids have said. it was ok.

S6 still wins. except for that stupid fucking blue skies song.

forwardstrike three - simply becuause it has the sickest teaser....balance (best possible ways to do interviews were explored here...hot tubs, empty baths, beer coolers...ill)second generation

so true. i loved how they put it together by session, not athlete. the intro gets me soo pumped too
