Rank, in order, the World's Top 5 Terrian Parks

west

1. breck

2. keystone

3. mammoth

4. beaver creek

5. aspen/ whistler

the only parks on the east that come close to ones out west are at mt snow and how is loon ranked so high i dont know how it is for battle my crew but i was there in feb. and their jump line was small

breck and keystone are interchangeable for no.1 in my opinion. they are both fantastic and they both have little intricacies that are better than the other. as for 3, 4, and 5 though... that's tough. mammoth is in there for sure. other than that who knows?

Why does everyone like backcomb so much I go there at least 10 times a year and the rails don't seem to great, everyone time I've been they have just had stock rails nothing really uniq.

But the jumps in the biggest park are really sick along with the chair lap.

haha, ive always been at heart, but i went back home the week before spring break and got 22'' in 24 hours, then went to mt. baker for spring break and ya... kinda hard to come back and still be hitting rocks all over the place and skiing super mellow shit. the parks here are sick, but i need pow

thats the best part about breck it HAS FLOW, keystone has no flow, its just got random jibs all over the place. not to mention they try to make all there rail features hessin/ gyspie friendly so they suck

My Top 5 (I've been to all of these mountains):

1) Whistler

2) Breckenridge

3) Laax

4) Keystone

5) Tremblant (home mountain = biased)

Having just come back from Colorado, I am completely unbiased and I think that Breck's park is better than Keystones. Altho Keystone has the superior lift situation, their features are lacking that little extra touch. The jumps onto the boxes, rails are brutal and the medium jump line kickers are sub-par.

From what I have skied/seen, I would say in no particular order,

Breck

Keystone

Mommoth

Whistler

PC

with Mount Snow definitely in the top ten.

But wait five years, Copper's park will be the best in the country. With SPT and Woodward there, they are putting a lot of time into freestyle skiing.

could happen. Intrawest has the $$$ and copper has always had cool ideas, but judging from the season i rode there, they just can't fuck with breck's consistency and magnitude.. plus i can't imagine kids buying a copper/winterpark pass instead of the 5-mountain or epic...

Copper/Winter Park pass is 100 bucks cheaper than the three mountain, and with SPT this year, their stuff was consistent, just small and meh. But they have better boxes than Breck, and when they pump up there jump line...Its gonna be good, just will take a few years before they get it down on how to make the big jumps nice.

is that all you do, go around and telling people to searchbar, get a fucking life. yor post is a waste and so is your account.

naw dude you cant put loon above breck, the whole breck keystone battle is so ridiculous, theyre both fucking sick, why fight which ones better? if you think brecks better and people like keystone better, thats less lines for you and visa versa. anyway heres my top ones from what ive skiedbreck/keystone (or keystone/brek as to not make fights)park citymammouthmount snowsunday river/loon
loons my home mountain too, that shits pretty dope for the ice coast

Mmmmmm California!

haha +k

Kinda suprised Bear hasn't been mentioned a little more... guess not many NSers from L.A.

From what I have been to:

Windells

Blackcomb

Bachelor

Brighton

1. Breck

2. Mammoth

3. Timberline in the Early Summer

4. Keystone

5. Brighton

6. June Mnt, Ca

good to hear. i also liked how coppers park run was long as fuck and had a bunch of different parks w/ groomers in between. but better boxes than breck? i'd have to see it to believe it
