especially sick since he made a clothing company off of it and donated 100% of the profits to the paralyzed player from Rutgers right after the guys mother lost her job

i know he will never get the jerry rice-status.

but when you look at that highlight reel, i dare you to show me another highlight reel of someone else that is better. probably ANY position.

that is actually a legit point. i will give you that.

but you get my idea. while he had some aspects of his game that were suboptimal (blocking, underneath routes, motivation) his amount of 50+ yds TDs is just awesome.

like half of those catches would lead to me throwing the controller into the screen if this happened on madden to me. unreal athlete.

I always thought this commercial was so dope. I used to love jason williams too when he used do sick passes and stuff with the kings.

This. He retired too early. One of the O-line players was paralyzed on the field during a game and the other was killed by a truck. He had no more protection. He looked like he didn't need any because he was practically unstoppable, though.

I didnt know all that about the o-line. anyways some of his most exciting plays were like 2 yard gains where he would make the entire team miss him at least once. the only non-chief football player I ever had a poster of

Yeah the O-line was possibly one of the worst in the league at the time. The offense was pretty bad, too. Barry pretty much was the offense most of the time for the lions. He looks like hes running for his life because his blockers aren't there to help him out. Thats what made him probably arguably the most elusive running back of all time.
