WD-40 is not a lubricant, its a de-greaser. VERY bad idea to use it to lubricant things like bike parts. But, for putting on the bottom of your ski boots,it works just fine. Just don't spray it in the working of your bindings, because it'll take all the graese off and cause them to rust and ware.
Hmmmm, random advice eh? Use a condom. Its hard to ski with a baby on your back.
When doing up your boots, do the power strap and the top buckle first, followed by the forward most buckle. That'll help push your heal back.
Poles that are too short are better than poles that are too long.
