Random Question

Yeah I've done it before, I was just thinking about trying it on canvas shoes and I'm not really sure exactly where to start with that haha. I was hoping someone would have some sort of advice, but of course I forgot I was on newschoolers.
 
Yeah that's what I was thinking, but when I learned how to do it we did it on blank newspaper and then pressed that onto a different paper for the final product, which is why I'm wondering if it could possibly work. But I'm too scared to try since I had to buy the shoes and if it doesn't turn out that'd be kind of a bummer haha. Decisions...
 
i have no idea what marbling is put if you're afraid to do it first try on your shoes, cover them in more canvas or mold something in the shape of shoes to put canvas on and try it. if it works with the shaped canvas, try it on the shoes.

again i have no idea what it is but hopefully i gave you an idea to try it haha

That's a good idea, I think I'm gonna try that. I was thinking about getting a book of canvas paper and just practicing a bunch of times on those, but I'm definitely gonna try your idea. Thanks for your help!
 
Haha that's not mine, I found it on google images. And yeah I thought about that...starting to think it's probably just a bad idea.
 
Oh wow that's really cool. That's actually really similar to what my original design was too.
