Random kid breaks the window on my car

So this guy that I haven't talked to since sophomore year of high school (freshman in college now) decides to break the rear window on my dads car. I don't live at home anymore but my younger brother was there and recognized him and some other guy when they came to the door. He was selling magazine subscriptions but my parents were on their way out and said they didn't have time. They leave and these guys go to the house next door. Then my brother sees them out the window standing in the spot where I usually park my car when I'm visiting home, just standing there talking and looking at my dad's accord. The next morning my dad finds his rear window broken. At first I thought it could be random but there are about 20 nicer cars than my dads parked on the street, plus there was nothing stolen. We've lived there for 7 years and never has anything happened to any of our cars. Too much of a coincidence that it happened on the same day as those fuckers were standing out front of my house.

So fucking sketch, I haven't talked to this guy since sophomore year when one of my good friends beat him up at a party. I can't believe this fucker still had a grudge over something that I was barely involved in. He recognized my brother at the door and knew it was my house. The house I'm not even living in anymore and fucks up a car that belongs to my dad. Who the fucks does something like that?

Now I'm going to have to go back home this weekend and confront him. I think I know where he lives and I'll show him the receipt and if he doesn't pay up I'm going to kick his ass. If its his mom I'll tell her that she owes me this money and she better pay up or her son will be in deep shit.

God damn it, I have so much fucking stress right now and I have to deal with this shit.

Reminds me of these BA (obviously) football players who decided to break out two different car windows one in a parking lot and one right in front of one of the dorms here. Pretty cool, not.

take it to the police. if the kid wants to be a bitch and break your dad's window over it, then get the police involved in it.

Yeah dude get him fucked over with the cops.

if you do something back that might be what hes looking for to get you in shit trouble with the cops.

If you do do something, make it good, like sugar in the gastank.

That will fuck up his car for good.

no, that would be much worse

just call the cops, or break his window. or just forget about it and laugh cause he has to sell magazines instead of go to college.

Someone's lawnmower?? Bahaha, yeah I bet the dude just decided to pick it up over his head and chuck it at the window. You should have said golf club or something. But lawnmower? Haha oh Rowen.

I think he is in college, goes to UC Davis or Sacramento State but I could be wrong.

I've decided I'm going to go on my own to his house and if he doesn't pay up I'll call the cops. If the cops are unable to do shit because of lack of evidence then I'm going to exercise my own justice.

hahaha someones lawnmower that just happened to go up onto my driveway at night, damn maybe this guy is innocent...

Word, just be cool about it. like hey I know you probably did this, just pay up or I'll go to the authorities. and if he doesn't then go to the cops, but don't do anything that could incriminate you.

Actually, the blade of the mower could easily hit a loose rock and fling it in any direction without the operator ever even knowing.

Finally... I thought I was going to read through the entire thread and have to explain that to the people who thought somebody through a lawn mower through the window.

But then again Rowen... it is winter.. isn't it?

Well, let's just hope that since you're so smart, you do actually know the difference between throw and through.

it sounds like he's in California b/c he said the guy goes to Sacramento State or UC Davis, and I could be wrong but it doesn't snow in California does it (except obviously in the mountains) but i guess all grass would probably be dead anyway

The lawnmower theory is bogus. They came to my house later in the day, and the window was broken at night. Our gardener who comes does his work in the morning, and I don't even think he comes over the weekend.

if hes poor and selling subscriptions hes not gonna pay the bill.

A. beat the fuck out of him
B. Smash his window and leave a magazine or a subscription card on his hood or something.

or legitly do the same thing to him. try to sell a magazine subscription to him and if they say no. fuck his car up later.

Haha, snowblower then. My neighbor mowed his lawn last week, its sunny and 45 here in Seattle. Point remains, you dont have very strong proof it was him, at least nothing that would stand very well on Peoples Court.

god people are so fucking dumb..... kick him in the knee so he can think about how stupid he is for a few months? or kick him in the knee so he has time to sit and think about how hes seriously going to hurt you, or seriously hurt someone in your family. god this is the real world people. get a clue.

i would fuck him up yo...... someone earlier mention'd kicking in his knee, seriously injuring his leg, and even said purpopsely give him surgery so he has time to think about how stupid he is.

i replied by saying he wouldnt spend his time thinking about how stupid he is.

sorry i shoulda quoted the guy i was responding to

hm, the only thing i could think of- a: lawnmover ran over rocks/pinecone/something else and shot it at the window

and b: he said the kid goes to sacramento... last i knew it didnt snow in SoCal.

just my 2 cents

ok you've got no proof that this guy actually did anything. so you go kick the living shit out of him and later find out that he didn't do it....what happens then? you're locked up on assault and battery charges.

basically, you're fucked.

You're right, there is a slim chance it wasn't him. Too bad its too much of a coincidence that after 8 years of nothing happening to any of our cars something happens that day. Plus it happened to one of the shittier cars (2000 accord) on the block (there is a Porsche carrera parked three houses down) and nothing was stolen out of it.

The pieces fit together. It's bizarre but it makes sense. I will get to the bottom of this one way or another.
