anyone else see that guy over shoot the jump on slopestyle by like 60 ft. what the hell was this random dude thinkin hitting that jump? fucker could have killed himself so easily, he wasnt even a park skier
 
nah man, it was today. i dont know what time but it was insane. the guy i was standing next to had to put his head down to his knees cuz he thought he was gonna throw up when the skier was laying there motionless
 
At first everyone was a little grumpy at the fact that he poached the jump, but karma took him to the hospital anyway. Thankfully he got up at all. That dude def did the opposite of "easy styling it". He instead hit the biggest jump in the country (on May 10 2009) with no speed checks and even less thought. SKETCH!
 
ah man. i was there yesterday. was it the huge jump under pine marten, the last one in the main slopestyle park?

 
how far did he take it? did he land on the flats? according to one of the other threads that jump is 110ft, so did he really go like 170?
 
it was pretty close to the flats, he left a real nice dent in the ground. i was talking to one of the snowmobilers after the mt. closed and he said he went about 180
 
holy shit. so that's the biggest jump in the country right now?
also does anyone know what injuries he got or how he landed?

the jump was 110, and the landing was at least as long. he landed a couple feet from the flats. absolutely ridiculous. pbp got 3 angles. he went down in an ambulance, no idea on the injuries but he is definitely an idiot.....
 
props to you though man, you hit it so many times. definitely made my year, so much fun to watch. the shifty 9, it think thats what it was at least, blew my mind
 
whats insane is that this guy was pussin out when it came to hittin the kicker at the bottom of the pipe. he kept rollin off the side and then he tried the death jump
 
haha yeah, i was talking to him about this last night, and totally i forgot that he did the same thing a few years ago only worse.

i also got to meet symms! but jossi and tj weren't there. anyone else go check that out last night? it was really cool, alot more low key than i thought. (i was picturing a crowd like rail jam or movie premier status.)

but i ended up being like one out of 10 people who showed up all night to get an autograph from them.

so cool being able to meet and talk to simon dumont vs just standing in line to get his signature. hes a really nice guy, and symms is hella funny. them and cosco were lighting shots in their mouth it was sick.

if i was 21 i would have tried it haha
 
damn i remember seeing that, I didn't think anyone was poaching I thought one of the riders ate shit. what the fuck was that guy thinking?

idk what the hell i would do if i was that guy. as soon as he tool off i would just be like shit...i'm about to die!! FML
 
when did i say they were? i was just saying how cool it was to meet them in person. not standing in a fucking line.
