Random drug testing??

Hey, do any of you guys know how often US ski resorts (that claim to do random testing - ie. Winter Park) actually test?

And without meaning to sound too degenerate (*shrug* it happens), how do 20 year olds go with getting into pubs in the states? (I realise this will probably depend on where/when)

I'm trying to decide if I should head to the States to work in the snowfields next season, or back to BC again (I'm in good ole '20+degrees C in winter' Oz at the moment).

I've been looking at Aspen (though it's pretty doubtful at the moment - mandatory testing urgh!), Kirkwood, Copper, Winter Park, Heavenly or Mammoth, though I'm very much interested in any advice on places that are good fun for lifties/ski bums.

Anywhere with a bit of terrain and a decent park will suit. Is that and the odd casual doobie too much to ask???

doubt it, and if they did, i doubt it would be "random."

Can't fight darkness with darkness, only with light.

if you pass the initial screening, i dont think it shoudl be a problem unless you get hurt on the job and have to go to the hospital. most companies have that rule as a safeguard to their insurance. as for the bars, get a fake id. it prolly has to be good in a ski town, though. the best kind is a real id from someone over 21 that looks a lot like you. if you can, get a second form from that person, so you can bust it out if oyu need it.

one good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain

I doubt you'll get tested more than the first time after actually getting the job if they do just pay someone $5 for a cup of clean piss

I have worked at copper mountain and Breckenridge. I was never drug tested... I don't think most resorts drug test for most jobs because they wouldn't have any employees left.
