Polo is lame.They're not going to be making clothing for freeskiers, but rather for mom and dad who live in CT, ski in Aspen three times a year, and who are trying to stay "hip" and "with it"... dude.
 
but bitches love it. and i dont mean the crunchy-as-fuck ski town girls who can pass themselves off as cute just because females are soooo damn rare around those parts.

polo is a very nice brand. very suave

they dont make tall or gansta shit, but i dont wear that around town anyway. i'm glad that they are branching out and supporting the sport, even if it is only for olympic dreams
 
Regardless of the style, I just don't like the vibe that polo sends out. It just has a sense of elitism to me. While I think Its lame that you might currently get bad vibes for not having a certain style, I'd rather have that than being scoffed at for not having a certain social status.
 
ralph lauren clothing is dildos. Its for medium-rich white kids to act snobby and pretend to be mega-rich white kids, and for those who say it gets girls: a dbag person draped in ralph lauren, is still a dbag person and as soon as you speak a word to them they will know.
 
Ralph Lauren actually makes really nice clothing.

Polo is not included in this category, neither is rugby, nor is RLX

I don't think they'll have much success in the freeskiing community because RLX, their tech gear, isn't very tech.

Probably not, RL has already made their collection for next FW so he will most likely be wearing that.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan. Overstated branding isn't really my thing, and if I'm wearing down, I want it to be packable.
 
those jackets look cool if you're some euro hotshot supermodel or James bond in whatever movie he skis in. or in like the 80's.

Ralph Lauren is rad as fuck. As long as at least one jacket in their line-up has a massive pony logo on it, I'm in 100% support of their move into our soooo-underground little artform.

Polo is moving us backward as a sport. Remember when skiing was the "whitest thing imaginable"? With all the skate influence, and sicker shit going down, and freestyle really bursting onto the scene, we were just getting out of that funk. Polo is pulling us back. Retrogression is bad
 
Idk about you guys but i feel ridiculous off hill with my jacket and its not even that tall. If the clothes look good and are well made, which rl usually is, then i have no problem with it.
