Rainproof mittens recommendations please.

My mittens are good in the snow and slush but when the rain cometh they soak it up like a sponge. Please recommend some truly waterproof mittens.

I have never had issues with my Wells Lamont’s, those gloves rock!

I was looking for a video to respond to you instead of what I said and they were just too gnarly to post lol

I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but a few brands make "over-mitts" - essentially like a less breathable, rain shell that you just slip over whatever glove you're wearing. No insulation, but will create a little more warmth. I have mountaineering buddies who use them on expeditions but break em out when it gets extra frigid or spring mist...

i use the hestra omni.

a bit expensive but is a very durable full leather mitt (does also come in vegan as the orbit) they hold up very well for me building a lot of park and filming street.

outdoor research makes sum of those but they’re hella expensive. around $250 i think, they’re military grade tho. been looking for sum affordable ones for a while tbh

Accidentally left me Well Lamont’s in my bag after a rainy day. They still smell like straight bunz to this day

Bummer, I’m guessing you tried washing them, I’m a big fan of leaving dryer sheets in or around my mittens, hats, boots, etc maybe give that a try

On this track, what are the best cold-weather, water-proof work gloves that can handle abuse?

Kinco's with sno-seal

tbh this answer applies everywhere.
