please let me know what you guys think. worth a buy or a rent? is it any different from the original or is it just a reason to play vegas again? overall better, worse than original? please let me know!!!!! i need a new game but i dont want to waste 60 bucks. thanks NS
 
ive got it.

so many reviews say its more like vegas 1.5. fuck those people. seriously, this game is amazing i love it better than cod4. if u liked the first vegas you'll love this one. everything is more cleaned up, the graphics in multiplayer look nicer, and all the environments are so much brighter and fuller. more weapons, more clothing, more shit to customize your guy in. the levels are amazing, like counter strike.

also the exp system is so sick. basically, you can level up by playing online, playing co-op, even story mode. ever terrorist dead gives u 5-10 exp. so u level up like crazy, and when u die, u arent pissed off because its just extra points. also the scoring system is sick. say ur more of a headshot/long range dude, everytime u get headshots or long range kills u get marksman points. the marksman points add up and u level ur marksmen level which gives u special marksmen weapons (like rifles and shit). theres also a category for assault and cqb.

the reason why i like this better than cod4 is that because after getting to level 55 in cod4, theres nothing to work up to. it takes a while to get to elite in rsv2, and so ur always playing because theres always something to work up to and unlock. and the story mode is sooo sick.
 
oh and if u havent played the original. u may hate this game. this isnt no run and gun cod4 noob shit. its much slower paced, and u cant spray. so for noobs it really sucks ass at the beginning because u cant get a kill. u have to understand that its a different type of shooting game, more close quarter thinking involved.
 
ahhh my dad pre ordered this one for computer, and I loved the first one too. I haven't played any video games for ever so I'm pretty pumped to get back into a game especially this one.

as for this game it's definetly a thinker. you'll find yourself dieing quite a bit and playing the same part over. in vegas 1 I played the part in the arcade where you save your one buddy for atleast 2 hours without making any progress and realized I wasn't even frustrated cause it was so fun , you just try different approaches/different guns. I'm pumped for number 2, story should be cool with how number 1 ended
 
I think it should be similar to the first because it is the sequal. and I thought that the first one was good so all they really had to do was improve on what they already have. I haven't played this one but I'm saving some money to purchase it later.
 
What do you mean no run and gun? Is it more of a Halo type gameplay, run in there and attempt to get kills. Or is it more of a stay back and stratigize(sp) type of game?
