rain in whistler, snow on glacier?

ok if the freezing point is 2800 meters, does that mean when it rains in whistler, it's snowing or freezing rain up top? om the glacier?

2800 meters is about 9100 feet... I think the glacier is from about 6-7 thousand. It will rain on the glacier

weekdays are for healing your back and neck after hucking hard on the weekend
 
just because it rains on a glacier doesnt mean it wont be there... its a glacier

i asked cause i wanted to know if it was raining in town, i would rather be skiing when its snowing not raining. i course i know the rain wont take a lot of snow off the glacier, it's hundreds of feet of snow. i've been up there when it rained and it sucked. i didn't realize that the glacier on blackcomb isnt the way way top. my mistake

i've been to whistler for a few years, and everytime it's been raining in the village it's usually been snowing on the glacier, it's always the heavy snow though, but still snow

i wish my mountain had a glacier.....but the top is only 2200 above see level

dont go to new york. all it has to offer is i love ny stickers
 
usually when it rains in downtown it will be snowing up top. there are many occasions. however, just because it is raining in whistler dont think anything will be happening on the glacier. i have seen it where the glacier is above all of the clouds so the weather doesnt matter. that is the sickest

its pretty small though, when i was on whis for closing weekend, it looked a lot like early july of last yr.
