railsides - problem

the only way i can balance on a rail is my left side forward. Now nothing wrong with that except it's an unnatural slide. So my slides are always bigger but I want to do natural ones. I learned the natural ones after years of skating and doing 50-50's.

ya skating totally messes me uip for natural and unnatural, because of fs in skating and fs spins in skating

for example fs grinds are much much easier then bs grinds, but fs spins are also much easier then bs grinds, take this into account for skiing, ytou then have your natural spin, but when you grind you tend to grind unnatural becuase thats the position yuor used to for skating

it messed me up completely, because i try to compare it to my skating

when i go back to skating i feel like a gimp, trying to do shite on skis with a skate. it does throw me off. but i need a way to correct it.

frootboots my friend. grab a pair and try some frontsides, it all helps out in the end.

by the way kittens, frontsides and backsides do exist on skis. whoever disagrees must be boarderline retarded. approuch the rail from the left side, turn 90 to the left and slide it so you seem to be moving towards the rail with your back. thats a backside. vise versa for frontside.

how bought no u crazy bastard. never ever do i strap on some fruit boots and practice, maybe in the summer when i'm concealed where the public can't see me.....

RES

Yeah that was my problem last season so last summer i just practiced skating switch and got good at switch 50-50s so now i can do both natural and unnatural slides on skis.

so if i skate left foot forward is that the natural grinding for me, cuz i cant seem to get it down that way..but it feels weird if i slide right foot forward. any help??

well to keep it real I started being a Poser Poser. I dress and act like a poser, but i'm not really a poser. I just pose to look like a poser posing. you know just keepin it underground

just jump up and spin. when u spin flat u spin off of one foot, which is ur non-strong foot. like ur right leg stronger, you take off left leg and spin to your left.

i fall a lot, and im cool

so u can slide rails one way, but u cant the other, and the way that u can slide is unnatural, thats uhhhh weird

What ever is NATURAL for you is NATURAL, its real easy. If you feel more comfy grinding with your left foot forward, thats natural for you and vice versa.

yea it dosnt matter about which way u spin
