Can you use wood as a rail. like a 2 x 4. would that work

it'll be hard to ride and weak....I guess if you keep it short and get it waxed you might get away with it..but it's not gonna be that good

You can use almost anything as a rail. The problem with using wood as a rail, if you use it a lot, you will get used to the speed of it, and then when you go to a resort and hop on a metal rail it'll be super tough. Just go to a metal scrap yard, you can get tons there.

Go for it dude but makesure its reinforced and if it gets chewed up get some tin flashing for roofing and nail it on
