Rails - Which foot Forward?

Which foot do you have in front? I do rails with my right foot in front, which just seems weird to me now that I think about it because when I used to ride (lol), I was regular, so I always had my left foot in front. So anyways, I just feel way more comfortable doing rails with right foot forward, how about you guys?

which for you is? I'm also trying to see if it's a 50/50 split or around that, or if one side is just more popular

Left foot forward, which makes sense because that's the way I ride, wakeboard, surf etc. I did get a bit confused (and slammed) when I started sliding rails because I naturally spin left, so I spun left to get on to rails, resulting in my right foot being forward! After a nice fat hematoma, I realised left foot forward was a far better idea!

Left foot foward on my rail at home. Right foot on the rails at my hill.

If someone can explain why, they get a very large helping of an e-cookie.

left foot forward for me i think it has more to do with spinning direction. i spin to the right so just popping a 90 on i go left foot forward

is your setup slightly tilted to one side or is the jump slightly tilted? cuz on ours there is some tilt and it is way harder to ride it left foot forward than right foot forward

im left foot forward, although i started right foot forward

I always slide right foot forward mainly because I spin to the left, and never tried going right.

But when I'm on a skateboard, my left foot is ALWAYS forward, and when standing on the pedals while biking, my left foot is ALWAYS forward.

I should prolly try sliding left foot forward. I'd likely be better at it.

i snowboarded for a bit and since im regular when i did 50-50's i'd be left forward so thats how i ski too

On big boxes (flat-down or D-F-D) I got left foot forward, and on smaller stuff i go right foot forward, thats wierd.

thats the same for me, i feel more comfortable in the air but on rails with my right foot forward it dsnt work out to well, so if left foot forward for me

Yeah, when I first started I was pretty confusded too, since my natural spin direction is left but it felt more natural for me to have my left foot forward. So yeah.

have smeone stand behind u.  when u are not ready they give you a shove in the back.  which ever foot u saver yerself with will be your front foot.  It is the one you should learn with...but u should learn how to do them both ways

i think there are more people that slide right foot forward than left. almost everyone i ski with slide right foot forward

i was always left foot forward but then one day i wanted to learn to slide both ways and i did that for a week and then i hurt myself and then i came back and i forgot which way i slide and i can do both almost equaly now but sliding left foot forward is easier now (its wierd)

wow exactly the same with me. for me, its cuz when i step on at home im more comfortable with left foot forward. however, i suck at spining right, even 90 degress, so when i have speed like at my mtn i spin left and go right foot forward. 270 ons are very easy for me though cuz of my weirdness

right foot foward on rail feels better but left foot foward on boxs feels better? dont aks me how i got like this its weird?
