Rails vs jumps

I think jumps are more frightening. It's something about going that fast and being up in the air that is pretty scary.

I think rails are more likely to give you lots of bruises but nothing serious. Jumps can give you more serious injuries such as broken bones etc, but its less often. Its basically quality vs. quantity

for some reason they just look more unnatural kinda like a jump you ride up to it jump and spin but a rail you turn and then change your median that your skis are touching there for changing your speed and its odd and i i fond it a weird feeling but they are really fun

actually it kind of depends how hard the rail or how big the jump is, but it rather do a 3 off a jump than do a straight air, if u do straight airs, u get scared and shaky in the air

i get scared worse on jumps than rails, but on jumps its only scary right wen ur coming into it, once ur in the air its nothing. and rails dont scare me at all, unless there are stairs under them.

i say jumps just cuz always in the back of my mind is falling and you can really hit an eject button unlike rails where u can just jump off

rails are so much more low risk, unless its like going off a cliff or something, jumps are way more intimidating to me

A 20 foot flatbar intimidates me as much as a 50 foot table, I'm not very strong when it comes to rails. I just find it easier to jump over something than slide across it, and the thought of the damage rails do to my skis adds to the scare factor as well.

I think that once you get confident that you are getting fully 90 degrees onto rails, and confident to do switchups and shit, you don't get scared of nutting it anymore. jumps are WAY scarier. especially big 180's and straight airs.

rails for sure are scarier. U fall on your leg or ribs in the right spot of the rail and ur done for the day easy. i like the feeling of floating through the air better too.

are you a dumbo? rails+jumps=skiing. taking either one of them away cause you dont like them is taking 1/2 of skiing away from your life.

rails are way scarier....as long as you get enought speed, jumps are like landing in a pile of pillows.

now...if you asked me if it was scarier to do a misty or slide a rail...obviously my answer would be different.

but straight air vs. straight sliding...rails are way scarier.

yeah but as long as you balance the whole rail you'll land. oh by the way i for got to add drops and big mountain into my radical mathmatical equation

jumps are so much more intimidating.

there isnt many rails that scare me but plenty of jumps with huge icey lips

if the jump has a nice landing than i find it far less intimidateing......althouhg i have had many bad experiance's with rails

jumps are scary becasue your frightened of overshooting or landing on the table. If you land on the landing thers a tiny chance of getting hurt. On rails your scared of fallig on the bar. I'd say rails becasue after the first jump im okay with it but with rais ther is always a risk

i love jumps! nothings like the feeling of just almost not overshooting it and understanding that you got sick much air, more than normal... rails are scary, they are made of metal, jumps are made of snow, their fun to crash into cus it don't hurt. i think i have never crashed on a jump so hard that it hurts, and i have over shot jumps so much that i pass out and my face is bleeding. but rails, they always hurt. like hell...

Jumps intimidate me so much more than rails. Going up to rails im not even thinking, just get on, do whatever and get off. Jumps though, I have to sit at the top a while and get in my mind what I want to do, and think of how I want to throw it and shit. You fuck up going off a big jump and you can end up on your head or fuck something else up.

i will pretty much try any rail. im not affraid of rails at all. idk thats just how it is. ive never been seriously hurt on one or havent had any bad falls. but i get scared when hitting "big" jumps.

i think rails r pretty easy, once you get good at them, you know when ur about to fuck up on a rail, wen you on it so u just bail off hike up and do it again till u get it, on the other hands jumps are easy depending on the weight of your setup

well, now i'm leaning towards jumps because today i nutted myself on a battleship.

so yeah. mostly jumps.
