Rails to Riches...

john got a pure legit first, he did alot of crazy tricks and killed it on everything. there was ALOT of good skiiers there and it was a fun comp.
 
judging for prelims were bullshit, there were multiple skiers that made it and shouldn't have and a few who didn't make it and should have.... however the finals were judged legit, lj was by far the most consistant and ahmet started off really good and faded a bit, everyone slayed though.
 
honestly what do you expect tho magoon and niko were gonna be in the top 3 even if they didnt land a trick
 
they both are really sick. but after lucas won those early season rail jams, he is basically just the standard to juding. like last year it was casanova like i said though, he was great style and is a crazy rider. and all the props to him for making it from the east coast and killing it
 
yeah magoon IS the best at rails right now in ALL of snowboarding and Niko is wicked good as well but i mean two locals that are super well known and DID land a bunch of nice tricks are gonna get top 3. Almost every rail jam is a little baised. I didnt see the rail jam so i dont know what went down i just heard some of the tricks but i do know that either one of these two could and did kill it. Magoon was probably the favorite goin in....... i cant wait to see what this kid does hes gonna win like 75k this year.
 
Also the finals was bullshit, the kid andrew did both pretzels on the down rail and lip 270 450 out! That takes wayyyyy more skill than the posistion he got. The jedges didnt even know what the difference betweeen natty and unnatty was. That kids got robbed strait up! Fuck killington
 
yeh he killed it, he actually did good lip 270s without going 482352mph into the rail like everyone else. I think if it was a best trick contest, he would have deserved to be up there. I don't think anyone should ever expect judges to notice unnatural though unless it is 2 features in a line.
 
ya seriously the kid who did the unnaty switch seven should have won.....he was by far the best....i think he had red hair though so he must have been really gay
