Rails on the Landing of Chad's/Pyramid Gap

yeah, Someone needs to put a huge down rail on the landing of chad's or pyramid gap. It would be insane. It's prob impossible, but I think it would be awesome to see cork 810s to rail over gaps like that.

Ok, you do that and try it, see how it goes clearing a 90 or 120 gap to a rail, your skis would prob snap.

I said that a while ago as a joke, it was suppose to be funny because it's extremly unrealistic...so no, its not gonna be happening soon

on the other hand, a huge rainbow over chads is for sure possible

who the fuck do u even think u are, u got some nerve, do u not remember me shotgunning first big snow on chads, im gunna have 3 features, a. rainbow rail over chads, b. an EXTREMELY tall flat bar in the gap, and c. chads to down flat down. i dont know why the fuck u would repost this u piece of trash.

I'm so glad I made this thread, cause that's one of the best/funniest thigns I've heard on here in a while.

That's the point I was getting at. He was hitting Chad's switch, causing him to loose that little bit of speed he needed.

But didn't the second time. See if he hit it reg. there would be virtually no chance of a mis-calculation like that to happen.

i dont think it would be that exciting cause whoever would do it would just tap the rail. but a giant rainbow over it owuld be nasty

yea the cork 810 has already been done and canadide didnt need chad's or any hudge gap to do it theres a pic of it in last years febuary adition of freeskier

he lost the speed carving on the lip, if you watch pyb where they show it like a billion times you can see where he lost the speed quite clearly

he lost speed because the snow warmed up over the course of the day, right?

anyhoos, a follow cam would be teh secks., or a rail over the whole thing... man, to be nutted on that thning...

i just want to know if anyone hit the rail on the step up at the candide invitational

also henrik w did a pretty big step up to rail a few years back

Would you feel like hitting a rail at 40 mph ( let's say it's almost the speed Tanner had when he broke his ankles...)... I don't

he didn't clear it the second time because he did it much later in the day and the sun had warmed up the snow, making it sticky. the first time he did it, he almost over-shot the landing, so the filmers wanted him to do it once more so it would be smooth. he realized in the air that he would be cutting it close, but from what he's said, he didn't expect to be laying down a textbook scorpion down the landing. from the pics that i've seen, i'm amazed that he didn't have back injuries from the crash. hitting the gap switch had nothing to do with why he didn't make it- it was simply bad snow conditions.
