Hey,

So far there are a couple of us who are going to ride all the rails in Saskatoon. Any other takers?

Sbc skier mag sent a group to saskatoon and they killed everything there, look for it in next years mag, as a feature article.

They went to stoon and hit up blackstrap are u shittin me lol thats so funny why would they waste their time haha oh the good old garbage dump literally its made of garbage, i'm from sask soi would know!

Kara~

I'm from saskatoon and blackstrap is not made of garbage. It was built out of dirt in 71 by the gov't. I know since I know the last owner.

It actually helps your legs remember how to ski so when you hit the mountains you are that much better. Of course 2 or 3 minutes up and 10 seconds down sucks, but we're in Saskatchewan.

fo shizzo.. talk about delay between posts.

Has anyone hit that massive blue bed/table art sculputure in front of that school thing on clarence?

It looks sketchy as hell but I bet its doable.

Hahaha I never thought about hitting that on skis. Some of the rails at the River-landing are doable, but really sketchy. I was gunna do the one down by the mendal art gallery but the snow turned bad before I could.

yeah i meant to head down to the river this year but never got around to it in time.

thers also that C over by rylys on the street... prob sketch as fuck to build (and just to be over there) but could have potential.

i think theres some more long rails on that street too.

and then that cannon. i mean. you have to jib a cannon.

but im serious about the giant table thing.. i mean.. sketchy as hell. but would be such a nice shot. have to drop off the staircase or something though, but its doable.

What I was thinking of next season is building a good bombdrop landing on the walkr ramp on the side of the victoria street bridge. Like jump off the bridge land on the snow pile/ramp then use your speed to hit the dfd of the ramp.

I figured I'd post some mendall rail pics

don't worry about it. You'll have tons of family wanting to see you when you come back...been there, done that...you'll be lucky to have enough time to scratch your own ass.

Nice man, I never looked at doing that rail before.. I might try to hit that when I'm home for christmas.

bbbump. anyone see the really really long handrail that goes down by Victoria bridge on the sask crescent side? itd be pretty damn good now that that roads closed off. im in pa till end of feb but im planning on hitting it then.

i remember looking at it last summer lonboarding and making a note of how good it was, it runs along side the sidewalk and that apartment building

There are a bunch of great, really long rails in willowgrove area as well as a sweet downflatdown that would be awesome to hit
