Exactly. You see, I want to get better at skiing, I like to push it. Just sitting in the same park doing the same jump/jib over and over again just doesn't cut it.
Of course some skis last longer on rails than others. For instance, i would never ever put anything from dynastar on a rail. But PE's and Mad trix are probably the most rail friendly sticks out there. My scratch FS's hold up nicely too.
all of u saying use ur beater skis on rails.. i jsut bought thalls and when r park opens i will hit everything with them.. why buy new skis if u cant use them to their max
