Rails at fortune

Hey everyone i was at fortune today and they have there two bigger rails from last year set up on pino, and a couple jumps (1 decent). Should be even better next weekend. Just letting people know.

i was there this weekend. im guessing there planning on opening more runs because there clodes all week

 
i was there on saturday, but i didnt do the rails because i didnt have my 1080's and i was doing some training thing. yo druid what skis did u have that day.

 
dont worry about the jumps, they both sucked. people just made them and the jumps were better when the hill wasnt even open. the rails were about a 10-15 foot flat bar adn the other was a downward kinked rail, both fairly small

 
the 2004 ones will be the exact same as the 2003. and there are no new rails they just painted the flat to downward one yellow..

 
there was this really crapped up jump with a landing that was pretty much we grass and my friend tried a misty off it. it was pretty funny, he just popped outta his skis and went tumbling down. if he had more air he woulda got it no problem.

 
At around 3:00 there was another jump built with a better landing. But it wasnt the greatest jump for spinning.

 
yeah, the kink rail was fun, no jumps up today though, and the flat rail had a dent/nick in it so it was dangerous.

ya i was there but i wasnt doing the rails unfortunately, i was wearing a blue and black coat and i had my grey and white verses, i was also helping the ski patrol when my bros friend broke his collar bone on saturday.

 
no go wednesday, and i will be there... for real.. go wednesday.

i went up on sunday and they were both closed off and i heard they might take em' away cause some guy i know broke his collar bone on saturday.

SKIING IS LIFE...the rest is just details.

eat/sleep/drink/drink some more/ski

And I was the other guy helpin (with the old white 1080s)

We ended up losing close to an hour of ride time because the ski patrol where a little slow getting to him and well they needed our help aswell.

 
cool cool, im afraid to say though that if i saw you again i would forget who you were, if you see me though jsut tell me, i was at tremblant yesterday, wha!!!! the best fucking day ever, perfect snow and weather, absolutelying amazing except for the fact that every fucking rail i tried i bailed on it, i gt keep practicing, for this early in the year id say their park wasnt that bad.

i know eh, tsk snowboarders when are they going to learn? actually i was possibky thinking of becoming patrol next year but there are many disadvantages to that.

Fuckin sketchy jump at the bottom of clifford today. Fucking broke myself on it. That was a bitch, i hurt. When will real jumps come!!!! I hate preseason

 
im going to fortune today, ill have my 1080 but again im doing some session stuff i think. we shall see. yeaaa its snowing!!!

 
No no i get up no matter how hurt i am. Ski patrols arnt allowed to touch me lol. I just took a really really hard bail. It still hurts everywhere today.

 
^oo i see. anyywooo my friends and i built a big booter up on alexander the hill beside the teebar. just thought i'd let you guys know

i am going early in the morning. you have to get the most skiing as possible. does anyone know if they have any jumps or not?? they are suppost to get 5cm tonight(sun jan4) and on mon 5cm and i got that from the weather network so if do i hope they can make a good jump

 
im going tomorrow, and it will probably my first time doing those rails, i havent found the time to try them yet and i swear i have really bad luck when it comes to rails. should be interesting

what park? ohhhhh you mean the two rails, well theres ya answer, ill be up but im teaching. and my rail session was fucking hilarious.shouldve been there.

not so far, their more concerned with opening hills, i bet they'll make some once they have more hills to dispurse the crowds, worse comes to worse make your own, people have already done that and as long as no body really hurts themselves on it they dont really care.

Can somebody just tell me what the hell is up there right now! It is monday the.. hold on let me check... the 12th. As for setting up rails... When i was there last i saw some guys trying to make a kicker to one of the rails... the trap i think it was. Are you aloud to do that? Just grab a rail and dig it in somewhere? And, if there isnt a rail to work with, can you ask for one?

 
na dude, they were fixing the jump to the rail because snowboarders and skiers go off to the side flatting the jumps down. also the rails are ride on so they trying to make them as durable as possible. oh ya we are also getting a C rail and a battleship in the near future.
