Rails and Snow Pants

lately i noticed that when i fall on a rail, i get markings on them and sometimes little rips, this kinda annoys me cause my pants are a few hundred bucks, any ideas on protecting them from damage
 
nothing you can really do to prevent it. id suggest either stop falling, or putting oil on them so they slide better
 
haha ya, when you gas up on the way to the hill, douse your self in motor oil. VOILA!!

no more rail paint.
 
what do you need snow pants that cost a few hundred bills for? especially if yur gunna rip them and mark them up
 
yeah, just get a nice shell pant and layer, i find they're the strongest. i would use clear hockey tape on areas below ur knee to protect against rips. painted rails are dumb.
 
Well you could use pants that are old or cheaper, and wash 'em if the paint's that bad. Im assumin its leavin paint on the base of your skis too? cause if its not and leavin it on your pants, then that's some weird shit man.

Yeah, I def have a nice rip and some blood stains on my pants. its cool, duct tape holds them together nicely.
 
ohh i saw that the other day...it didnt start like that did it? i take it that is post medical treatment(pre-stitches though)
 
well, it happend in the pipe, I skiid down to first aid, they almost threw up and told me I had to go to a real hospitol (for some reason I didnt think I needed stitches). I went to the hospitol, and they wouldnt let my friend in with the camera so I had to take it with my phone. so yeah, thats pretty much the cut an hour after it happened.
 
well my pants are rip to pices its not from rails of edges i hit i tree and then another on e and a another one
 
that nice little gash should be proof enough that R.E.D. rail guards are a jibber's best friend. paint on ur pants means that you try, and u push, which people like. if u dont have it then it just means u either dont do rails, or ur like pro and ur too good to crash lol.
 
Few hundred bucks for pants? Jesus, i got decent pants for 129 brand new at a shop, not on sale. North face motha fucka.
