is it me or do rails seem easier than boxes..idk id rather hit rails than boxes..some boxes are just scarier than rails...ne one else like this

im with you on that. grant it i cant do much shit on either. pretty basic stuff like 270 off and switch ups on boxes. but definitly more nervous when hitting a box than a rail

I think once you get used to rails there easier, but boxes are definitely easier to learn shit on, at least for me

rails are way better, more tech but easier to grip. frontside spins and switch ups are so hard on boxes i can only do blindside lately haha.

I just started hitting boxes yesterday actually and I noticed it was super easy to slip out at the start. Rails just made me more nervous. I guess since they're easier I'll have a go at some more rails today. Is it better to hop onto a box/rail or just simply ride onto it?

boxes have their place for beginners and just here and there if they are a really sweet box, but other than that everything should be rails. i know i prefer to hit rails.

totally agreee like some boxes are just really fun like f-d and some d-f-d 's and i tink that they are pretty much the starting base for sliding things and once you get past that and start hitting rails it just feels like rails flow a lot easier

just for sliding them boxes are way easier, and for bs switchups and bs 270s. But for fs stuff and pretzels rails are easier.

Yeah I like rails alot better but our park has almost all boxes. We have like 25 different boxes and 2 rails setup right now.
