Rail to Riches winner is...

yea i saw the competition, jd did 360 switch and 270 switch 270 out too, he did the most hard tricks, giray did land the most tricks and was the most consistent, i just thought jd did more difficult tricks, just what i thought.

exactly why he didn't win then.

you can't claim it if you don't land it.

this sounds exactly like the Thanksjibbing a week ago. JD may have stomped the most difficult trick, but if it was judged on overall impression, and not best trick, then whoever did the MOST good tricks should win. It was the same last week, I did a 3 switchup, but it took me a while to stick it, mean while peter and steele just racked up trick after trick... they may not have been the most tech, but they were difficult enough and they stomped them. if its overall impression 15 good tricks beats 3 insane tricks everytime... if this is the case i can guarntee you that the judging was not at fault and if the competitors knew what they were being judged on, they shouldnt feel owned...

i like seeing people stepping it up.. rather than just going for consistancy..

sick for giray regardless though!! i didn't see it so i can't say.. goooo kim!ah

Yeah, the judging sucked, my friends should have won. blah, blah, blah.

Que "the judging sucked, (insert name here) should have won"

soooo predictable!

I didnt see the finals.. but judging by the qualifiers, the judges were definitely looking for most consistent rider, and not best trick. Which is not a bad thing, as long as everybody knows! But I think the judges told everybody before the comp.

wesson was throwin down all night, he should have podiumed

and although kaya is thug, i think kim should've taken first with her blindside switch ups but kaya was doing unnatural slides on the down box so yeah.. decently judged.

I think Wesson should have either won or at elast podiummed the kid was trhwoing down just as hard as every other kid.

here is what he did:

2 in switch up 2 out

2 in nose press bs 2 out at least 2 times

and some cool 2in p reverse 2 out and normal 2 out

then on my side i threw

270 in tail press 270 out a couple times

270 in to fakie like 3 times

270 bs 270 out like 3 times

270 450 out backseated landings

ten a 270 in to blind side switch up to fakie (like changing direction twice

on the girl side, no disrespect to kaya cause shewas throwing down but Kim was definatly thrwoing down real hard.

kim was thwing blindside switch up on the kink, disasters and lipslide, on on the urban style down set up.

Kaya on the other side was super consistent so it's cool that she won. plus it was like her first day on snow this winter

a couple of people said the judges weren't exactly paying the best attention they could have been in either quals or finals.

in my opinion (and many many others) kim had first locked up for women and on the men's side ced should have placed higher and will should have podiumed.

what about you stop bitching???

People asked what people were thrwing and sicne nobody said what I threw doew, I putted it downthere.

And about the judging, I realy dont care much about how i placedbut shit Will should have like won or podiumed at least, he was killing it HARDCORE allday and didnt crash much i think he fell like once.

Dude he is a rep. And he rips. And was giving us reports on the event basiclly as it was hapenning.

People need to chill the fuck out.

Once someone posts a video of the event, we can see how sick and close everyone was.

well despite all this nonsense the comp was sick...i dont think i have ever fully supported ANY comps judging, so i really cant say this was any worse then others...they told us specifically they wanted to see us landing lots of variations of tricks, and not falling trying for one insane thing..that being said, i think that the places are fairly accurate...giray and pat and ced hardly ever fell all night, and worked from easy things up to way tech tricks on BOTH features....yes, jd clearly had the trick of the night with the nastiest 450-270 out ive ever seen, but he only landed a few other tricks after that and spent the rest of the time coming off early (thats pretty much all i did all night too)and jd never hit the box...as for will, i think he should have placed somewhere in there, but i also think all top 3 are deserving...everyone stepped it up whether it was staying consistent and stomping everything, or just nailing that one crazy trick once...either way it was super fun and some kids got money...you cant really complain

ced had the nastiest shit of the night, will wesson had just as sick shit as well. kim should have won. thats how it is. no less props tto giray hes wicked sick, but i think the judging was very lame on teh ski side.

id unno man, looked dope but I was freaking out cause i had cramps in both legs and couldnt walk at all. It was making a lot of noise, and colors in the sky, so it must have been really cool

i did on kink rail:

sw on sw up 270 out

sw on sw up reverse 270 out

270 on sw up

270 on sw up 270 out

270 on sw up reverse 270 out

sw on sw up nosepress

then i just did like lip noses on the down and some other shit

giray deserved it. Pat def made the biggest impression on everyone he was incredible. Will was mad consistant but didnt hit the kink that much or at all i dunno. Cedric is incredible, hibbert got work, jd was also impressive wit the 450, I was drunk. Overall it was the best rail jam ive ever seen and the biggest shit to go down at killington comp wise i tihnk. good times and hope the preztels helped everyone out in that cold weather.

i have to agree. but all in all, it was a great contest and people were really killing it out there.

congrats Giray. i hope u get that super pimp car your saving for now. haha
