Rail suggestions?

my home hill (mt. baldy) is going to have a park for the first time this year. Anyone have suggestions/plans for what types of boxes/rails/ jumps we should have?

depending on your hills budget you guys would probably want every feature possible. downs, flats, ups, up-downs, battleships, and other unique things that you guys can think of. jumps for sure also just make sure they are in a good spot on the hill and arent on a run that is to flat or to steep

barrel/tire jib, c box, rollercoaster box, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 ft booters and the stuff listed above.

Its probably because he has a few pictures uploaded. Karma depends on stuff other then just post count.

being nice to people, making good comments on many of the other areas of the site, articles, videos and pictures, etc.

as far as your park goes, i think the first 2 posts pretty much summed it up. if you have the budget you can do pretty much anything, but if not at least throw in a c-box and an up-down rail, some decent 10+ ft. jumps.

i think its essential to start out with the basics. get like a 25 foot or so flat rail, and nice 25 foot flat box too. then get like a flat down box/rail, a couple of different rails and boxes after that. like a down rail, c box, trap box, etc etc. for jumps, keep them nicely shaped and keep the landings not to icy. make like a 15 footer, then like a 25, 40, etc

oh ok, I thought it just came from forums.

anyway for you park get a wall ride too I hit a small one for the first time last week and it was really cool

Everything above sounds good but i always though a teter-toter rail would be fun. you should get one at your park!!!

def get a solid 25ft flat rail, a down rail, flat down rail, a few jumps rangin from like 10ft to 40 ft (if theres room), get a nice wide long flat box, c box, and just other boxes cause there mad fun, also a wall ride would be good

i think you should try to keep it simple and go for quality over quantity for the first year. just get some solid features to start out with. flat rail, down rail, f-d box, dfd, maybe a bonk or 2

van baldy is definately not gonna get any of those features! they will be shitty PVC rails made by you and your friends!

just my opinion. but i think that if the hills on a tight bugdet then itd be so much sicker to have more of the basics like straight rails and boxes and maybe a flat down and of course jumps. and make sure they build everything properly. smuggs has a hard time with that nowadays

god my area has had a park for like 6 years and they don't have any of this stuff...we have like an 8 foot flat box, a flat down box, a down rail, two staircases, and a few other jibs. and then like a ten foot jump and like a 35 foot jump

yeah all this stuff sounds good. And the guy who runs the hill is into it too. I'm going to try and get a grant for the park too, to be able to afford more stuff.

does anyone have any thoughts on how to anchor the topsheet onto metal frame rails? we had two boxes last year that were pretty fun, but the topsheet lifted off in the spring when it was hot out, and they were unslidable. also if anyone has any actual plans for boxes it would be appreciated
