Rail Structure?

I'm going to build a rail about 15' long with two 4" pvc pipes. Should i just screw through the bottom of the PVC pipe to connect it to the wood?

ya screw from the bottom of the wood into the bottom of the pvc pipe, that works best. It works if you do it straight down from the top to, but you have more chance of catching.

^^^ yeah and make sure your screws are long enough to get far enough into the pvc. It'll help the screws grip a lot. Also, use a lot of screws... like one every foot or so. So yeah

i drill from the pvc to the wood, just press hard enough to depress the screw into the pvc, and you should nt have to worry about catching.

yea was kinda thinking it was fat probably gonna make with 2 1" pipes or something
