this may seem like stupid question, but when i railslide i always seem to slide off after like 6 feet, do i not have enough speed, or what else could it be? anyone got any tips?

go faster and look at the end of the rail, and also for 270 off dot spin too early, wait for the end of the rail

make sure the rail is under the arch of your foot. some people will slide on their heels so they dont assplant and end up falling off toeside

I am not doing the grabs because I am getting a thrill out of touching my ski-JP Auclair

keep ur skis perpendicular to the rail, if they are at an another angle, you're gonna slide off.

make sure you are going straight to the rail...and dont turn on the jump...if you go completely straight, and turn in the air..then you should hav eno problem doing it

Keeping yourself centered is key. Keep your body straight also - if you twist your upper torso, it will ruin your balance. You should also practice on inline skates in the off season.

yo i had trouble with this to in the bigging u gotta look at the end of the rail when ur on it and ull stay centered on it

speed helps a lot with balance and also because your not on the rail for as long

focusing on the end of the rail will help you go in that direction

keep the rail right in the middle of your feet

my mom taught me how to so rails actually and she gave the best advise ever

"when you get on the rail dot really move just let it slide out"

hahaha I love it when super old threads get bumped, especially if the person who bumped it is trying to give advice due 8 years ago. I was like 10 years old when this thread got created, hahaha.
