Everybody has said that the Surface Double Times are amazing for jumps, but are they good for rails as well? Would the No Time's be better for rails? Also, what about the Moment Jibs, are they good for rails and jumps? What are all of these skis' strong points and weak points?
 
have you considered any of the on3p skis? They have the thickest edges in the industry. bombproof construction for rails.
 
No actually, I haven't. I understand that they have bombproof construction for rails, but are they smooth on rails and nice for rail tricks? Since I mostly go to my local hill which doesn't have many jumps and lots of rails I need a ski that is more for rails than jumps.
 
And they may be out of my price range. I can't load the site because it's unavailable right now.
 
The guys at ON3P, make some awesome skis and they are all known for being bombproof and great quality. Just remember for skis and especially when hitting rails you get what you pay for.

 
late bump but the edges on filthy riches are 2.5mm and no times also have 2.5mm edges, so whats with the thickest edge thing?
 
the only thing that affects how skis feel on rails in terms of just how they slide is how detuned the edges are. aside from that all centre mounted park skis will 'feel' near as makes no difference the same. Beyond that you just think about durability and how you want to ski.

If you want to butter and press a lot, get a soft ski. If you want to spin a lot get a narrow/light ski.

ON3Ps have a shit hot reputation for being durable, but i have no personal experience of them.

Personally I like my park skis at least 100 under foot and soft.

this is newschoolers, everyone is going to promote on3p over surface. as far at the 2.5mm, it means the edges are the same thickness. but, there are plenty of different skis on the market that are solid and "bombproof". so then you may think all skis are the same. but every ski may have a different flex pattern, swing weight, etc. everyone may have a prefernce for how buttery and popping they like their skis. so asking for suggestions doesnt do much, just because one person likes on ski over the other, doesn't make it the better ski. it just means it fits there riding style better.
