Rail size

So I plan on building a pvc rail to use in my backyard. I'm just not sure whether or not I should make it 10 feet or 15 feet long. I kind of feel like 10 feet would be too short and once I get better a rails I would outgrow it fast. Just thought i'd ask for your opinion. Thanks for any help

15 feet. If you learn on a longer rail rather than a shorter one you will be better and it will lead to more variation in the tricks you can do

Hey, don't be so critical of the shorter rails. Some people have shorter rails and are just fine with them. It doesn't really matter how long it is, because if you use it right, it gets the job done pretty well.

that's good to keep in mind, as well as the fact that the camera makes the rail look much smaller than it is in real life... i swear

saw title rail size and thought this would be a penis length comaparison thread. i was dissapointed.

But really, go with the longer rail. 10 feet seems long until you're hitting it skiing. Rails seem to be bigger than people think, and jumps smaller.

At the same time pvc and 2x4s are cheap. If you feel more comfortable learning on a 10 foot go for it. You cna always build a bigger rail, build another 10 foot to add to the end, or rebuild your rail.

may i suggest if you can only get your hands on 10 ft segments to build multiple to throw together..

i have a shotgun dfd that is 3 sections so you can set it up with any variation. also trying to build another version of this with larger diameter single tube maybe 4" now.
