I haven't even started my set up yet I'm still plaining. What PVC pipe size should I buy? would this be good or should I go with another size or what? I want a rail the size of a flat rail and not much bigger or smaller. I could use a really big pipe if anyone knows where to buy one. I'm plaining on used 2 of these pipes I'm linking side by side to make a rail. would this work well?

That PVC will work fine. 10' will work, but is abit small. I would go at least 12' if you can. Search around build-a-jib for plans/pictures of a double barrel PVC rail.

i made a rail with 4 3/4" pvcs drilled next to each other on a 2by4works fine and the pvcs are are only like $3ea

It's easy to build double or even triple barrel pvc rails. If you're going to make a double barrel, clamp the pvc to a 2x4, then drill up from the 2x4 into the PVC pipe. Create legs, and done. I can post some pics of my triple barrel rail on Saturday if you want.
