I know alot of people don't tell where they have found good hand rails, but ive been looking around and calgary sucks for hand rails. I found a c rail at the resivour, and the multiple rails at mcmahhon. does anyone now where there are any good ones. and ones the snow starts to fall and we get our first big dump, whos up for a goal post slide in the SW, its perfect. oh and where do you guys get your snow from.

come to canmore. the hospitol has a nice 40 foot downhill handrail, the little school has a really big kink, people have slide the last half (about 25 feet), and theres a double kink at the highschool, but that would be sort of sketchy

Steps:

a} go to your local garbage dump.

b) find the perfect rail.

c) sand it so it's really smooth.

d) Slide it.

Why won't it work? It's a handrail... You just bury it into the ground or into the snow if you get enough.

there is a nice rail by the bow trail, sarcee intersection that has been in freeze and skier and there ir a nice double kink at ramsey school, and there are a shit load of other nice rails around calgary,up in strathcona there is a super nice goal post to slide!

 
check the football stadium. I think they have some sweet rails set up there, but that is just from the top of my head, I havn't been to Macmaan (sp) stadium in a while. or to calgary fo r that matter.

theres always the 14th (i think thats the street) evryone in calgary knows where I'm talking about anyways the guard rails in kensington by sait. well awfter those there is a gap to downkink that would be rad to hit. I am down for urban jibbery but i dont know if a goal post for me yet cause i am still fairly rusty.

this goal post is so simple, but other than that, anyone who wants to make the trip out to springbank sometime this winter, is welcome to come jibbing with us at the highschool. They have a good rail right behind the football feild is like 200meters long, but theres a 70 foot part in it that really cool and its got an awesome landing for spinning off inot the football feild. we are gonna tow in with snowmobiles prob. late nov. early dec.

 
as if guy calgary has the best handrails ever...i know where all of them are....i have map of calgary and i call it the jib key and it has hand rail locations on it...i know where like 40 handrails are...

ya i have amillion, all my bro and i do is look for handrails we have like 34 or something written down, but they are secret! one i can give away tho is a pimpin rail. its by acadia rec centre or something and its prime if there is no snow because its a hoclkey rink and the rail is in the parking lot so u can just get snow and toss it there, u need someone to tow u in tho, but its a simple yet prime rail
